Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Imitation is the highest form of flattery Empty Imitation is the highest form of flattery

Post by Caelani Bittel Mon Dec 06, 2010 4:57 am

Caelani strolled down Diagon Alley arm in arm with Thaorson Elldir. Even if they were here strictly on business, anyone looking on would have to admit, they made a charming looking couple. But then, Caelani would have insisted that she could make a toad look charming.

Business. The business of fixing up where Felix Barker had stuffed up. The boy was a menace. Caelani hadn't banished him from the ranks of the Death Eaters - which was really only an oblique way of saying she hadn't killed him - but only because she couldn't get her hands on him to do it.

In any case, Barker had got his hands on some useful goods, and then, somehow, he'd let them go! He'd had people the Death Eaters needed within his clutches and instead of handing them over to the boss like a good little minion, he'd decided it was more important to get his rocks off with that torture fetish of his.

Caelani realised she was frowning just thinking about it and deliberately smiled as she led Thaor over to the window of a jewellery shop.

"Oh, look at these, sweetheart! Singing lockets; aren't they delightful?" she exclaimed with saccharine sweetness.

Thaor walked with Caelani down the ally, they were arm in arm. This was something that made Thaor smile, even though they were here on a mission. That, and the fact he didn't even know if Caelani liked him or not, he has attempted to use legilimency to find out, but she is an occlumens, apparently. Thaor smiled as Caelani pointed out some jewelery that she'd apparently like, it was hard to tell if she in-fact liked the jewelery and was using it as a time waster, or if she was just using it to waste time until Sophia showed up.

We could get a matching set. They'd look great on us, but more importantly, you. Thaor said with a smile. He, was using this as a time-waster, but he was serious, they would look great on her. Thaor glanced around the ally, looking for anyone who seemed suspicious, seeing no one, he returned his attention back to Caelani, it seemed she did something different with her hair, but he wasn't sure if she in fact did or not.

Caelani cocked her head to one side, causing her hair to cascade over her shoulder and looked into Thaorson's eyes, practically daring him to try probing her defences once more. She didn't know what he was trying to find out, but she was certain she didn't appreciate the effort.

"Do you think so?" she asked with a coy smile.

This really was too much. That girl better show up soon.

Still playing the infatuated younger woman, Caelani rose up on tiptoes to whisper into her "beau's" ear. That was the great thing about using Elldir as a decoy; he was one of the few men who was actually tall enough for Caelani to wear high heels around and not feel like she was in Gulliver's Travels.

"We should see her soon. I was told she comes here quite a lot," she whispered.

Thaor looked directly back into Caelani's eyes. He wasn't afraid of her, not now. She needed him, and, oddly enough, he needed her. Thaor dropped his defenses just long enough, for Caelani to see what he was trying to find out. If she was a good legilimens, she would be able to tell, but Thaor was unsure if she was or not. We can discuss what I was trying to see later he said, just to make sure.

I do, you'd look gorgeous with one on. Shall I buy it for you for Christmas? he answered with an infatuated smile.

Thaor bent down to whisper into Caelani's ear, I hope you're right. he whispered in return.

Sophia walked down the crowded street of Diagon Alley with shopping bags in her hands, she was obviosuly shopping for Christams Presents for her friends and family. Sophia walked into the jewelry shop to see about getting a necklace for her mother for Christmas. She honestly didn't know what to get her mother and she was the only one left on her list to get. Looking at the necklaces that were displayed in the counters she smiled as she found one that she wanted. "May I look at that one please?"Sophia asked the lady that was behind the counter as the lady nodded a gotten out for her.

As Sophia looked at it she nodded. "I want that one please."said Sophia softly as the lady nodded and wrapped it for her. Heading towards the counter with her money the lady rung it up and told Sophia the price as she paid for it. As she walked outside the jewelry store she looked at the the singing lockets and then looked at hers around her neck with her name on it and smiled. "Ok... everyone on my list has a present, now time to go home!"said Sophia softly to herself. As she turned away from the jewlry store she headed towards the exit and back towards the Leaky Cauldron.

Thaor began scoping out the crowd, looking for any sign of Sophia, almost instantly, he spotted her, walking into the shop in which they were looking through the window of. Did you see that owl! Thaor said excitedly, pointing to the sky. Giving Caelani the signal that Sophia had entered the shop. Thaor made sure to not let Sophia out of his sight, and he and Caelani stayed arm in arm as they tailed her, being sure to stay far enough back to not give themselves away.

Oh dear, we was supposed to meet James fifteen minutes ago! Thaor said, giving anyone near them the impression that they were late, and this was their reason for hurrying towards the exit of Diagon Ally.

There was no more time for banter, as the Lestrange girl walked right into the shop they were browsing the window of. Caelani made a show of pointing out some diamond earrings and antique brooches while the girl made her purchases, then as she left, they hurriedly followed her up Diagon Alley.

Why were children always in such a rush these days? Caelani would have spent at least another hour in the alley looking at all the latest robe fashions before she hurried home when she was that age (which, come to think of it, wasn't all that long ago). The two Death Eaters had to scurry to keep up. Good thing Thaorson was quick with the improvisation.

As they caught up the couple parted, seemingly to scoot round Sophia on either side, but as Caelani drew next to the girl she suddenly screamed and pointed up the Alley.

"Everyone run! It's Felix Barker!" she cried.

Then, without waiting to make sure Thaorson was doing his bit, she grabbed Sophia's arm and pulled her into the shadows cast by the shop they'd been passing.

Sophia was almost out of Diagon Alley when a women calmed Felix Barker was here in Diagon Alley which made her freeze in fright. "Oh crap not again!"Sophia thought to herself as she was about to run of of Diagon Alley. As she felt two people grab her she seen it was the women who calmed that Felix Barker was here as well as another man she didn't know. "Ok you can let go of me now, I'm safe."said Sophia softly as they didn't let go. "Let go of me!"said Sophia trying to get away from the, but the harder she tried the harder there grip became on her.

Putting two and two together she gasped. "Oh great Sophia, getting yourself into another trap!"Sophia though to herself. As Sophia struggled to get away she looked at them angrily. "What's the point of his rubbish?"Sophia asked as she tried to get away. As she tried to get her wand she found she couldn't so she decided to yell for help. "HELP!" Sophia screamed hoping someone or anyone would see her and help her out at lease. "Oh god, I'm as hopeless as I was when Felix Barker kidnapped me."Sophia thought to herself as she tried to run away.

Right when Caelani broke away from Thaor, he grabbed the peruvian instant darkness powder from his pocket. After making sure he had it in his hand, he grabbed a hold of Sophia, and threw the powder down the instant Caelani screamed, instantly darkening the ally. Thaor shot a few stupify's to make it seem as if there was a duel, and then whispered to Caelani Lets get outa here

The girl was panicking, just what they didn't need. Hadn't Felix taught her to be properly submissive while being kidnapped? Tisk, Tisk, Barker. Caelani clamped a hand over Sophia's mouth as she yelled for help, and put another around her waist, pinning the girl to her for the ride ahead.

"I've got her. Ready when you are," she replied to Thaor.
