Damnit! Angelique pursed her lips in disapproval. Brienne had gotten her where she wanted her! It was so... stereotypical. Outwitted by a Ravenclaw! Haha.

"I'm just luring you into a false sense of security," she quipped.

"Obsidio," she added with a half-hearted wand flick.

The spell blocked Brienne's hex, but that was hardly exciting, since you didn't get to seventh year without being able to defend yourself from a tiny little hex like that.

Brienne grinned a risus sardonicus smile. By the look of her opponent, it seemed that she'd just made good on her threats and taunts. It seemed the unlikely happened, she won. She felt a great joy in the pit of her stomach, which would've come out as an excited squeal had she not vowed to be proper about it.

"Good duel, kept me on my toes", she said, then resumed humming her favorite song. Well, not so much humming as it was quiet singing. She remembered just where she left off, too.
