Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"You should relax." Dora suggested. "When their presence want's to be known it will be." She bent down and picked up an leaf that had gone orange and took her wand out. She lit the tip of her wand with light and held it to the leaf. The colours were beautiful. Dora let the leaf drop and she muttered 'Nox' before tucking her wand behind her ear. “There is no point worrying over something either merely observing us or doesn’t want to be found. They might think you’re pretty.” she laughed a little and crossed her arms over her chest. It was getting chilly now.

"I can never let my guard down," he said calmly yet his tone had more a defensive ring to it. Not in a mean way to her just knowing that they were being watched. "Alright I'll calm down a bit. But the last time I let my guard down, I got attacked by an anaconda."

Post by James Wake Sun Jan 03, 2010 3:47 am

James Wake clapped his book shut. He enjoyed the actual closing of the book, the firm ending of his reading time. It was to confirm that he was finished beneath the trees, and he got up slowly from the mossy seat he had created for himself. He loved the woods. Nobody was around to bother him, he got plenty of exercise warding off his "brethren." He inadvertently gazed up at the beautiful crescent moon. Then he heard a scream. Of all things, somebody screamed. His mood butchered, James drew his wand and silently toed his way towards the disturbance.

By the time he found the humans that had entered the forest that night, they were already arguing. He recognized Amadora right off the bat. The weeping girl. And Danny Thompson. He had seen him in the halls. They looked pretty darn stupid, just standing there in the dark. Then, he sensed movement. Movement other than theirs. Snapping twigs. Ace began to back away.

"Did you do anything to harm the snake?" Dora asked. She rubbed her arms, trying to get some warmth flowing through them and picked up another leaf. It was a lot greener than the last but still pretty in its own way. "Letting your guard down isn't a sign of weakness you know. Its a sign that you trust the people around you. However, I am not asking you to let it down... just relax." Dora smiled and put the leaf back down on the floor with the others who seemed ready to have their friend back.

Danny finally just gave up and dropped the Siren on the ground...yet it reappeared on his side not a second later after he did. "Alright let's just keep moving then," he said wondering if anyone else was here too. "The snake wasn't harmed by me...yet my friend had killed it with a sword. It was a shame to see something like that happen."

"Was there cause for killing it?" Dora asked, raising an eyebrow. "It would have been unfair if there wasn't." Yet another leaf was what Dora found next and she started to wonder if she should make a trip to Hogsmeade and buy a scrap book to house the leaves she was finding. They were truly beautiful and needed a place to be showed off. Perhaps not to the eyes of many but to her it would be. "Are we getting near the school now?"

"The snake lunged at me," he said calmly starting to remember most of the way now. It had been a while since he last visited this place. "Yeah we're getting close. You wandered out here pretty far though"
