Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Icy Treats at Fortescue's [Open] Empty Icy Treats at Fortescue's [Open]

Veronica stood in the middle of Diagon Alley on the cobbled pavement, pondering over what to do. Her parents had given her exactly an hour to do all of her Hogwarts shopping for the year, while they went to run some errands. At first she had wondered just exactly what errands they had to run but all curious thoughts had flown out of her head when her little brother Elliot was put into her care. In one hand, she held her shopping bags with great difficulty while her other hand grasped Elliot's.

The immense crowd bumped into them and she dragged her little brother along as she looked for a more private spot to kill the remaining time that she had left. Veronica had hurried to get her school supplies so that she could explore a little but boredom had caught on and now she headed towards Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor. It was not particularly hot but she was in the mood for it and she felt that Elliot could do with some sugar as well, seeing as he didn't seem to be in that good a mood.

Veronica set down her brother onto a chair beside her, making sure that he didn't squirm and hit his head on the table top. She pushed her bags under the table and sat down, stretching her legs as she did. Veronica relaxed her tired and stiff body for a few more minutes before signalling for a waiter. "Um, Hi! I'd like some butterscotch ice cream with chocolate sauce and a vanilla ice cream for this little guy, please." She said, as the waitress arrived. Veronica smiled at her politely and tickled Elliot's chin as she awaited her ice cream.

Icy Treats at Fortescue's [Open] Empty Re: Icy Treats at Fortescue's [Open]

Abbey walked into Fortescue's for some ice cream. She flopped down onto on of the red chairs. She was exhausted! She had spent all day shopping for her school supplies. A waitress came over to her table. "What would you like sweetie?" she asked. Abbey scowled. She hated it when people treated her like a kid. "I'd like a double scoop of mint chocolate chip with carmel sauce and rainbow sprinkles on top." Abbey said. The waitress pointed her wand at the pad of paper in her hand, and Abbey's order was immediatly written onto it. "I'll be right back with it." the waitress said. Abbey nodded and began to daydream while she waited for her ice cream.

A few minutes later, the waitress came back with Abbey's ice cream. She set the bowl on the table and told Abbey the bill. Abbey counted out the correct amount of money, and then began to dig into her ice cream.
