Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Problem is, although we know that muggles are good enough to fight wizards and witches properly without disadvantage, we don't know how great the technology that they have is, and how it works. I don't think we should start any actual fights until we develop a firm line on what type of technology they possess, like we do with magic. We know magical limitations and what spells exist, but we don't know what technology exists against magic (although according to Potter Puppet Pals, machine guns could easily beat Voldemort)

I can write out the weapons and equipment for the RP. I mean there are a lot of VGs out there that look big and bulky. Maybe they could withstand spells as well.

^I agree, lets wait for our muggle branch to expand a bit before we create war topics between them.

I agree with Darren, and Alexi. One, just because you're fat doesn't mean you can't be wounded by spells. Two, NPCs are such a pain in the touchie. Three, You'd NEVER die when fighting against us. We'd be using killiong curses and you'd be ducking them, or using shields to deflect them. You'd all be supersoldiers.
