I'm going to use this plotting thread from now on, and edit as needed with new characters and edits to their current events. So I'm gonna link this in all of my folks' signatures so it'll hop right to this post.

ADRIENNE POLIAKOFF
19. Ex-Ravenclaw. Going through an annulment and living with a friend who could turn out to be something more than that down the road, Adrienne is trying to redeem herself at the Daily Prophet. Her brother (an NPC) is a Death Eater who purposefully avoids her in hopes of keeping his family safe, but it means that she has an unhealthy interest in that faction. She won't join, of course, but she is a little too keen on finding out what they're up to.

APOLLO ZABINI
18. Ex-Slytherin. Apollo is teaching a new class at Hogwarts called Curative Magic, which is based in real-world style lessons where the students practice healing other students or those in need. It's part of his apprenticeship at St. Mungo's, but he also wants to be around Hogwarts to help his younger friends now that the world seems additionally messed up. He's set on Lily Potter like his brother is, but is more forward about it than Christian is. But that doesn't mean he won't be one of those curious young professors that students pay some attention to.

AUDRIANA SWAN
26. Ex-Gryffindor. Her job is a secret. Although she has been in hiding, one thing is certain about Miss Swan: She isn't exactly up to nothing. She's been pulling away from her family, including her daughters, for reasons only she knows, and that has led to her reckless attack on the Minister for Magic. Soon, though, she'll be forced to come out of hiding and deal with what she's caused.

AVERY IVANOV
26. Ex-Durmstrang. Beast (Dragon) Specialist at the Ministry. Avery recently received a letter claiming that her husband Robin was found dead, but she refuses to believe it. Robin had a good few enemies from all of his stealing - which she had recently assisted him with - so she cannot accept that the note might be true. It has driven her to join the Order, and she is looking to find some people who would help her search for answers without alerting those who might have done something to him. She is determined to hold onto hope as long as she possibly can. (Note: approval for this plot was given by Robin's handler, Emily).

BENTLEY PIERSON
23. Ex-Slytherin. Businessman. Ben's got his new family all sorted out, but his old one haunts him. His father is a prominent (NPC) Death Eater who turned him away because his mother was a Muggle. She died shortly after, and he was forced to live in an orphanage for most of his life. Now, he's made something for himself but pretends to be one of the Death Eaters after a massive mishap he isn't interested in talking about if he doesn't trust you, but he is actually working to share what secrets he can with the Order. His safety and his family's safety comes first, though.

CHRISTIAN ZABINI
18. Ex-Hufflepuff. Manager of Quality Quidditch Supplies. Twin to Apollo Zabini, Christian also has a thing for Lily Potter. But he falls easily and quickly for anyone who seems to need his help. He's a sweetheart but he has issues with the fact that his father disliked him because he is the younger twin. While his mother keeps him close and looks out for him, she doesn't know that both boys wish they could be in the others' place.

DARCIE HAYES [FUTURE ONLY]
The third child of Keiran and Millie Hayes, Darcie is convinced that her mother does not love her as much as she loves the twins, and is innately attached to her dad. She's sassy and crude in her later years, and gets irritated with being surrounded by so many family members and family friends. She spends a year at Beauxbatons with Theodore Rookwood's daughter during her Hogwarts years, and is generally quite charming.

DARREN ISAACSON
20. Ex-Ravenclaw. Darren is a social psychology (Sociology, basically) major at University, and generally annoys everyone he meets. Doesn't have a whole lot going for him except with Erika Dixon, who he is sort of using as part of his senior project, but who he finds himself oddly curious about as time goes on.

DECLAN ARRYN
30. Ex-Gryffindor. Owner of the Leaky Cauldron. Declan has had his fair share of heartbreak, but has suddenly found himself interested in Dom Weasley, who has essentially gone missing on him. He's a lover of Quidditch and cooking, and no matter how hard he tries to make women dislike him, it often makes them more interested than he intends or wants. He has the strongest morals out of all of my folks, and tends to get worked up over things that others don't necessarily understand. It's caused a lot of strife throughout the years.

ERIK ROWLE
21. Ex-Hufflepuff. Works odd jobs, but mainly stays at Fleurish. Erik's entire life, basically, is a lie and he is only just finding out. He believed the love of his life to be dead, and has no idea that his son isn't really his. With a family he trusts more than he should and a woman he can't understand (but feels he should be able to), he's a bit of a hot mess right now. His boy, Abraham, is two, and Erik shows all of his emotions plainly on his face, so together they make quite the endearing pair. He's probably had a good bit of romance in the past, but because his memories are a bit wonky right now, he is more focused on Victoire than he is on any others who might, for example, want to start things up again.

GRAHAM DUNN
16. Ravenclaw. Dark Follower. Graham's (older) half-brother and his mother are Muggles, while he and his younger sisters are not. He harbors a lot of resentment for his brother and for the Order of the Phoenix, who he believes were the cause of his father's death several years ago. He's something of a bully, though some who don't know him well might think it's just an act. It isn't, for reference. He's often seen causing issues with Isadora Malfoy-Nott.

HADLEY SWAN
23. Muggle. She was meant to be part of the British Government's investigation into the Ministry of Magic, but ended up accidentally able to do magic and is really quite terrible at it. Adopted into the Swan family by equally Muggle parents, she's been entirely unknown by Audriana until recently. Intended as leverage over her adoptive sister, the blonde is about to end up in the hands of the Death Eaters and find herself in quite a mess.

HENRY TROSS
28. Ex-Gryffindor. Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports at the Ministry. Henry is Declan Arryn's best friend in the world, and is a complete cad. Although his seeming lack of morals makes him a shocking companion for the older man, Henry really does it as more of a show than anything else. He loves sport, and drinking and generally saying whatever comes to mind. Particularly if he thinks it is funny. Henry is incredibly social and generally a good time all around. At the same time, however, he's terribly reckless when it comes to helping the Order and defending those he cares for.

JANE GOULDING
23. Ex-Beauxbatons. Event Planner at her friend's business. Currently working for the Death Eaters. Jane plays both sides of pretty much any argument provided she can find her way to the winning side before the end of it. She wants to get ahead as her mother is overbearing and incredibly successful, where Jane is not. Her siblings are not as taken aback by their mother's actions or fame, but Jane has always wanted the latter, so she's after it in pretty much any form. She's bad at relationships since she generally is too dramatic and really uninterested in sitting still, but that doesn't mean she won't consider trying it out.

KATHERINE "KIT" AVERY
17 (but a Sixth Year). Ravenclaw. Dark Follower. Katherine is probably the least invested faction member there ever was. Before her illness took hold, she was determined to be the exact image of her mother. The woman died when Kit was young, but what memories she holds of Gemma are strong and include exact images of what she was expected to do. But then she became very sick and no one seemed able to realize it was partly because of a Muggle illness but mostly because her magical ability is extremely weak. It's not related to the Green Itch that went around among purebloods, but could be seen as similar when it comes to those who have had it. So there could be some camaraderie there. Her older brothers, twins who are 19 and ex-Slytherins, are fiercely protective though Mesut is more kind-hearted than Lucas, who is truly a rotten apple. His family just hasn't realized it fully, yet. **For Kit, I'm actually open to a relationship that is bad for her in the sense that they care about looking good for pretending to take care of her or something. She doesn't have a lot of passion for anything anymore, so finding out someone is using her might set her off again and make her more driven.**

KEIRAN HAYES
28. Ex-Slytherin. Head of the Ministry's Department of International Wizarding Communications. Basically, he does Public Relations work and oversees the Ministry's work on things like the Prophet. Keiran used to teach Transfiguration, and there are likely a few students who were sad to see him go. Even if that's just because he's quite good looking. He is often seen around Hogwarts, however, because his wife works there and they live with their three children at Hogwarts during the school year. Otherwise, they live in Ireland in their new-ish home. He has a lot of deeply hidden issues with himself, and even Millie is only just starting to see all of the parts of him (two years later). They're in the process of trying to save their marriage, and he has actually (though nobody knows about this aside from Millie and his brother, Peter) killed someone recently to save her, setting that properly into motion. Keiran holds an impressive amount of secrets, though it would take implicit trust for him to share any of them.

MAI S. TIERNEY (GRAVES)
21. Ex-Gryffindor. Lawyer at the Ministry. Mairen is currently living with Theodore Rookwood and has more or less initiated herself into his family, though it wasn't actually on purpose. She is the ex-fiancée of Scorpius Malfoy, which certainly didn't please anyone in that family very much considering she's a Halfblood. Although her mother is dreadful to her and her father, the cellist for the Weird Sisters, is a drunk, she's oddly optimistic and talks far too much for anybody's good. She's known to try the patience of many, but when she really sets her mind to a case, she's shockingly good at her job.

NESSA BRIDGEWOOD
17. Slytherin. Dark Follower. Nessarose was adopted when she was very young, though her parents never actually told her as much. Instead, she heard about it one night when someone suspected she was not who her parents claimed she was, and they were deciding what to do about it. Turns out, their biological daughter was a Squib, and it didn't do to have a family who wanted to be perceived as powerful and pureblooded end up with a child like that. So they adopted another magical child and gave her a name that included 'Rose,' which was the nickname for their first daughter. Nessa doesn't know what became of the other girl, and had been hellbent on finding out. But she's recently been betrayed by someone she cared about, and has been turned into a werewolf. So now she is more set on avoiding being pulled in by James Blood's pack and finding some place to stay when not at Hogwarts, since she doesn't trust her parents to find out her new secret.

NICOLE GREYBACK
11. Hufflepuff. Nicole's mother has convinced her that their family, the Connollys, are generally just bad people. When Tracy (her mother) had Nicole without being married - not to mention with someone like Fenrir Greyback - the family turned on her and Oliver's father, Greg, did nothing to stop them. So Nicole is convinced that they would not accept her, though that isn't at all true. She does know the facts about who her father is, and that she has half-siblings out there somewhere, but doesn't know any of them by face or even by name. She's a bit of a troublemaker, given she's finally out from other her mother's watchful eye, but she is also someone who could be easily swayed. If given the wrong leadership, she could fall to the side of the Dark Followers quickly. If given the opportunity, she could grow up to be one of the most loyal Order members of all.

OLIVER CONNOLLY
22. Ex-Hufflepuff. Author and Leader of the Order of the Phoenix. Oliver can be incredibly misguided sometimes, but he knows exactly what he wants and will make a point of it even after telling himself not to. He wants to turn the Order into something that people can be proud of again, but is meeting a lot of resistance after Audriana's stunt in the Order's name, as well as from outside forces like the Death Eaters. Plus, having old leaders of the organization back is not helping him gain much ground. He hopes to instate a new way of running the group, which comes second only to his intentions of marrying Alice Rousseau as soon as she'll allow it. Rather, as soon as her father will allow it.

If you're interested in threading with any of these, let me know. I would rather take on one thread at a time rather than several (because of time constraints, mainly), so if there's one plot that really calls to you, for now I'll ask that you focus in on that one and give me that idea first. Even if it involves more than one of my characters. That's fine. But I'm not going to be able to take on a bunch of threads currently.

Plot suggestion: Maybe we could start a thread for Mia and Apollo. He teaches school subject that may be interested for Mia, but of course she would trying to annoy him like all the other teachers.

Nessa and Mia are both Slytherin and Dark Followers. Even if Nessa is 2 years older than Mia, I think the two of the could be friends.

I have no problem with Nessa meeting her. Nessa is highly... abrasive sometimes, but she has also become something of a dreadful flirt, but that's all an act because she wants to keep the fact that she is a werewolf a secret. So Mia probably wouldn't know about that. However, until we have a separate plot for them, maybe we can start with their time in classes? All students are in one thread for each class, so Nessa and Mia would be in class together all the time, which is convenient for testing them out.

Maybe we can start with Mia in Apollo's class, and see how he reacts to her. I don't expect him to assume students are messing with him because they think he's good looking or whatever - he sort of knows that he is, but doesn't react to it as others might, if that makes sense. So he would probably ask to speak with her after a while, so we could have the class thread but then, once I get caught up on that thread I could start one and set it a couple weeks after classes start, where he's asked to talk to her after class?
