Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Worse Luck Ever Empty Worse Luck Ever

Post by Yvette Tungsten-Wells Wed Feb 11, 2015 4:28 pm

Yvette yawned as she walked out of the Leaky that night after pulling a double shift covering one of the sick waitress'. She felt like her feet were going to fall off but she knew that she just had to get home quickly. She walked along the street and towards her home which was only a few blocks down from the Leaky. It was misting a little bit with rain with a withheld promise of more. She was about to cross the street when she saw a car come flying down the road and waited until they passed but before they did they hit a bit of water. Gasping before the water hit her and having no way to avoid it, it splashed over her covering her head to foot in ice cold water. Taking that as a sign she turned around and walked back towards the Leaky as fast as she could muttering to herself about stupid muggles. Then of course it started raining completely she groaned as she walked then ended up bumping into someone.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you." Yvette said quickly cursing herself since tonight of all nights she was having a bad luck. She wondered if she was ever going to have a stroke of good luck tonight or if it was going to continue to go down hill from there. "Are you alright? I am really sorry I should have been looking where I was going." She said trying to figure out if the person was gonna either yell at her or just tell her to leave them alone. She knew that she was going to have to make sure that she was careful from then on simply because her day was going from bad to worse.

Worse Luck Ever Empty Re: Worse Luck Ever

Post by Nymeria Evanesco Thu Apr 02, 2015 3:46 pm

She never planned this. Today when she woke up Nymeria Evanesco didn't think about going to the Leaky, not even for a second. That rarely happened, usually she would think about going there since she open till the time she closes her eyes. It wasn't because drinks they serve, not even cause she liked ambient, it was lovely but nothing special. It was because even if there was a slightest chance she'll see O'Sullivan, and it was quite possible since it seemed that Christian decided to live here until he find an apartment for himself, she'll visit The Leaky Cauldron.

Yet today she came here just for a drink. A drink. Not Christian. That made her smile while she checked if she can pass the road safely. She passed the alley quickly and veiled under the awning right before rain started pouring. Nym exhaled thinking she would be completely soaked if she decided to walk to her apartment instead of coming here. She glanced towards doors of the Leaky. Well, she'll be soaked after all since she needed to run for 15 meters without any shield from rain. The only other option would be staying here till the rain stops and that could easily last for some time. She took a few big breaths, like if she's preparing for something extra hard or important ran. And bumped into someone. "It's my bad, sorry." She started at the same time as the other person started apologizing. Nymeria chuckled and pushed the door open so they can come in. She pushed wet her behind her years so she could finally look at the person she bumped in. "Yvette?" Nymeria blinked taking a look at the girl. "Oh dear, what had happened to you?" She asked then remembered she probably looks the same.
