Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Questions to clear the air Empty Questions to clear the air

Felix had heard of this bar down in Diagon Alley, people often said if you were looking for a criminal, it was the place to go. Though it helped that the person who had an office above it was believed to be some sort of private investigator. As long as Felix kept his head down, he assumed he wouldn't be killed in here instantly if anyone did happen to find out who he was.

Felix found his way into the bar one gloomy weekend, it was pouring down rain outside, and Felix was drenched. He had decided to take a break from his usual lodgings and maybe win some people over to his side in Diagon Alley, which wasn't exactly easy.

See Felix was a criminal on the run, not only that, last he knew he had a kill on sight placed on his head, with a pretty hefty reward for any information about his whereabouts. That had been years ago though, Felix had once been the headline of the papers. News about the people he kidnapped, tortured, and left for dead. News of him being on the run with a half-werewolf named Naomi Greyback. News of his capture and his trial which had him put in Azkaban for the rest of his life.

News of his release and how he had been cleared of all charges under Grindewald's reign. Once Grindewald had been defeated however, the charges seemed to have been brought back up, and Felix had gone on the run to save his hide. That had been two years ago. And he had run for two years, until quite suddenly a year ago, he had started to have pains in his chest.

Now to this day, he was trying to show the world that he felt remorse, he was hoping to one day walk down the street without fearing his death. He was hoping to make up for the damage he had caused, and the pain he had created.

Felix Barker was hoping to reform.

So here he was, in the last shady place he felt slightly comfortable, near other creatures of magical bearings, hoping to find SOMEONE who might believe him.

Felix walked up to the counter and ordered some tea and a sandwich, having pickpocketed a man who looked to belong to the Ministry just outside the door. Felix had no hope of making money, and in order to survive he had had to rely on what he could get, not what he could earn. Laying the money on the counter, Felix picked up his sandwich and took a bite out of it. Adjusting his hood slightly so no one could clearly see his face.

Questions to clear the air Empty Re: Questions to clear the air

One final down, Darren decided it was as good a time as any to skive off of studying and go out for a drink. Regardless of the other tests he would have come Monday, the nineteen-year-old chose to go down to Diagon Alley and check out one of the lesser-inhabited pubs. Clearing his head of any knowledge of Geology sounded brilliant, considering he hated the subject anyway. In theory, he could just forget all of it and be fine. It wasn’t like he would need something so base down the road.

Two or three whiskeys from now, Darren was sure he would be well on his way to forgetting the entire subject. Disappointed in the fact that he couldn’t wear the coat he so liked to lift the collars on when pleased with himself, the University student stuffed one hand in his shorts pocket and ambled down the street in search of a place that looked interesting enough to enter. Even with the rain, he hardly bothered to worry about whether or not the umbrella he held was slicking water onto anyone around him.

Finally, he settled on one place that he had never found time to enter. Darren chided himself for not having bothered before, and thus pushed the door open, shook off his umbrella and glanced around. It seemed decent enough, and potentially interesting enough, to merit his spending time there.

Hopping up onto one of the barstools (regardless of the fact that he could merely sit down), he feigned not noticing the other person sitting at the next stool over who was in the middle of ordering a semblance of a meal. When the bartender glanced Darren’s way, the Ravenclaw Graduate grinned. “Whiskey for me. Just the drink. And you may as well open a tab for me now; I'm drinking to forget.”

The last sentence was tacked on sarcastically, but he made a dramatic, pathetic face to go along with it. The bartender clearly didn't believe him, but Darren smirked lightly and set his umbrella down between his stool and the bar top.

Questions to clear the air Empty Re: Questions to clear the air

Felix almost winced as a man jumped up on the stool next to him and ordered a drink. It wasn't entirely decent to jump like that on a stool, in fact, this man wasn't entire decent in himself. Looking so smug and proud of himself as though he were the king of the world. Felix glanced his way, taking another bite out of his sandwich, before feeling a small smirk settle over his features. "Aren't you a bit young to be drinking, lad?" He asked in a dark, grumbling voice.

He had practiced this grumble, and he liked the way it sounded, rolling from his deep belly and outwards to the air, soft, but almost menacing, like the rolls of thunder that swept over the building they were sitting in. The pitter patter of rain giving the bar inside a rather static like atmosphere, charged with the lightning particles outside.

"What would a young man like you need to forget anyway?" He asked, feigning to be a lot more old then he was. Felix was only 24, which wasn't exactly young, but he was in the prime of his life, although having seen things a man in his fifties should never have seen, and been through things that no one in their right mind would have gone through on their own.

Felix had experience, whether that made him better or worse then anyone else, he had experience in ways that this boy beside him had no idea of. The kid looked to be barely out of Hogwarts, so what did he have to forget? Maybe a bad breakup or something.. though he looked a bit too cheery for that, maybe he just wanted to sound a lot cooler then he was.

Felix let out a small dark chuckle and took another bite of his sandwich, before swallowing and grabbing his tea, bringing it to his lips and taking a drink, his face briefly visible in the darkened light of the pub for the boy to see. He had a strong, smooth jaw, though aged beyond what it should be. His cheek bones were decently high, and he was obviously younger then his voice was trying to make him sound to be. The glimpse of his eyes would have shown a tiny scar above his eye, old and faded, it stood out clearly on his lightly tanned skin.
