Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

TROUBLE FOR FORMER HEAD THEODORE ROOKWOOD

_____________________________________

Former Headmaster of Hogwarts hasn't been doing his pure-blooded family name any honour as of late. After failing to secure Hogwarts castle after the breach, being removed from his position of Headmaster more news arousing the rouge Rookwood had leaked.

Insider source of the Rookwood family spoke about Theodore Rookwood's estrangement of the noble family when he took newly married wife, Hallie Rookwood, to visit his family. In spite of the marriage law and Theodore not having a say in the matter, Thaddeus Rookwood (Father) wasn't too pleased that his son agreed to go through with the marriage to a half blood. Unfortunately for Theodore he is the first of the family to drive the family away from their pure blooded name. Rookwood is stained. The ministry stained this honourable's family name.

It came as no surprise, following the family incident before Christmas that Rookwood was removed from his inherited position as a member of the wizengamot. His replacement is yet to be confirmed although will no doubt be happening soon with the trial of Henry Yewbeam drawing nearby by the day.

Henry Yewbeam's trial links back to Theodore Rookwood, adding it to his list of troubles. Hallie Rookwood, trainee auror who made her mark in the office by being responsible for the capture of Charlotte Topez the infamous Quidditch Player who moonlighted as a death eater, is claiming that Yewbeam held her hostage and tortured her. Indeed she was missing from work over the Christmas period and our sources tell us that Mrs Rookwood is currently resting at her Mothers cottage in The Lakes after an amputation - the result of an infection, which the auror believes she contracted during her hostage. Henry Yewbeam is yet to comment on the subject and is keeping his head low. Of course there is no public evidence that Henry is responsible for the capture and torture of Hallie Rookwood and it will be interesting to see how things play out.

Fortunately things are looking up for Theodore and his wife. Robert Lupin, Minister for Magic, appears to care greatly for his staff and evidence of this is the extra paid sick leave he has granted Mrs Rookwood until she is fully healed and the trial is out of the way. Perhaps the support from Minister Lupin will give Theodore Rookwood hope that, despite the troubles, things may turn out okay for the newly weds.
