Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Kyria was absolutely thrilled that she got to stay with her Aunt Riona and cousin Caine this summer. Her aunt had taken her and Caine to a small town by the sea south of Dublin by which stood an ancient celtic castle only about 5 miles away, shrouded in forest. Of course it had something to do with Celtic magic and folklore so it interested Kyria since it had some connection to the wizarding world. Unfortunately, it was closed to the public because of its unstableness, having seen a fair amount of wars and battles, but dear Aunt Riona managed to get them in at night with her magic and kept an eye on them.

As Kyria was led through the castle, she thought she saw something. it was shaped like an egg and in the moonlight, seemed to have a rough shell. It was sitting on a pile of blocks and rubble. Kyria wondered how long it had been there and if her Aunt Riona even noticed it. When she asked if it was indeed a dragon egg, Aunt Riona just dismissed it as such, probably because if it was it wouldn't be good to get too close to it. Dragons were surprisingly good at hiding and protecting their items.

Later on the next day, when Aunt Riona left for some errands, Kyria managed to slip away from her cousin. In broad daylight she slipped into the forest, which was most very likely unwise considering she could've been easily spotted. Reaching the fence, Kyria scanned the area, making sure no one was around, before stepping through and rushing inside the castle.

Kyria retraced her steps form the last night, following down the hall and making a left into the sitting room she was led to. Then she turned right into the library, finding the egg sitting snugly between the same pile of blocks and rubble. Kyria approached it and inspected what she believed to be a dragon egg. At the top, she spotted a small crack and touched it lightly with her finger. She could feel a light thumping against the shell which had started to become harder as the rest of the shell began to crack. Kyria smiled, realizing that this was indeed an egg and most likely there was a dragon inside. She sat and watched the egg slowly cracking open, unaware that she would be meeting a classmate rather soon...
