Revised Version of Events:
It's Rivah that Charlotte is talking to when overheard/outed but she escapes with face unseen.  Charlotte is put in a holding cell to await her trial the next day. Someone from the Ministry (her lawyer, perhaps) talks to her during this time, and Charlotte says that she's going to give names. Jude and Eli hear this and decide to take action. Eli lets her out, telling her that she's free, and Jude informs Kat-Car. This is a trap, as Kat-Car is waiting for Charlotte in the atrium. Cordella wanders into the atrium, Kat-Car stuns her, and kills Charlotte with Cordella's wand. Charlotte's corpse, along with Cordella's wand and unconscious body with a head wound, are discovered in the Ministry's atrium the next day. Cordella is thrown in Azkaban for murder. Kat-Car is pleased.

by the way can we make the scene in the atrium mega massive?! Like have Charlotte attempt to run and hide in the ministry, get chase maybe other death eaters block her way? Maybe she runs to the department of magical creatures and Rivah apologises etc as she was talking to Charlotte when she was heard etc?
Then a massive duel when Charlotte is cornered back to Kat-Car in the Atrium then Cordella pops up and BAM

And Charlotte should totally blame Rivah for saving her own skin and not helping her escape too. And then Rivah will feel like it's partially her fault Charlotte ends up dead. And the part with Kat-Car will be epicccc

Woo!! I am so excited for the Rivah/Charlotte scene it will be an interesting mood change during the drama. You have no idea how excited I am to have Charlotte die now!!

All this going on with Eli and Jude stood on one of the balconies watching, wearing expressions of confusion muddled with amusement and awkward sudden horniness because these duelling women is just too hot for articulation.
