What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ok, so sorry if these are stupid questions. But I've tried to look for things, I swear!

First, is there somewhere I can read more about this rebels vs. Ministry thing. I kinda need to figure out where Jemma stands on it, since she works there and all. All I can gather is that the rebels don't like the Ministry. But is there like some reason behind this or what? I'm assuming they didn't wake up one morning and decide the Ministry was evil.
Jess' new post has solved this.

The second, about ranks, does Jemma need a grad rank as well as an OOTP rank or is that sufficient?

Thirdly, what is going on with tiers atm? Are we using them/do I need to worry about them? Or not?

Lastly, a comment more than a question, but in the admins thing in the sidebar (btw is Jess an admin or not 'cause he's not there?), if you hover over Keith the picture goes massive and things go funny. Can someone fix it please?

1. Um really the rebels are trying to overthrow the ministry because they don't agree with them.

2. She would need both ranks. There is a thread somewhere explaining the medals. I'll edit this post when I find it.

3. I don't believe the tiers are being used much.

Agree over what? What are the Ministry actually doing that is so bad? That's what I can't figure out atm. Is it corrupt? Are people in charge doing bad things? Is it beliefs that they're spreading? I just can't figure out why :/.

I guess that's sort of up for debate, every Rebel may have a slightly different reason for hating the Ministry. Basically, from my understanding, Rebels think that the Ministry needs to be taken down and re-built. It's in incredibly old government, and needs to be modernized/fixed/uncorrupted. As I said, different charries many have different reasoning. I hope this helped a bit, an Admin would probably be much better at explaining.

Like some people want power, others want reform. Some think the Ministry is incredibly corrupt, or inept. So the Rebels want a political revolution of sorts. Not an outright civil war, but civil unrest. New people, new systems, and hopefully progress.
