Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

One On One Talk Empty One On One Talk

Post by Susan Bones Wed Mar 13, 2013 10:50 am

Susan couldn’t believe she was going to do this. Meeting with the boy that left her fifteen year old daughter in tears, it wasn’t the best idea ever. She knew she’d keep herself together. She knew how Neville was with the boy, Andrei Dolohov. She knew of his father but that didn’t matter. She kept track of what Death Eaters had done the first war and his father certainly hadn’t been part of anything with her family.

She sighed. She hated thinking about that. She didn’t want to think about war, death, murder and torture anymore. She was getting too old for it, emotionally though she could physically do it. She could still bring herself to hex people once in a while but she had never done an Unforgiveable in all duels she had ever been in. She had no use in them. She had her own ways of causing pain. Never little people knew she carried a knife in shoe; she had used in the Second War a few times to cause pain that lasted longer than a spell unless they found a healer.

Life had been interesting lately. To her surprise Ernie took it in ease. He wasn’t angry about Amelia dating or her having a secret party. To be honest she thinks Ernie was a bit proud of Amelia breaking a few rules. She had no issues with Amelia’s boyfriend Lance. Michael had been in Dumbledore’s Army and Lance was his son so he must have raised him well.

One On One Talk Empty Re: One On One Talk

Post by Andrei Dolohov Sat Mar 16, 2013 5:20 pm

Andrei had no idea why was he agreeing to this in the first place. He decided that his brain must be slowly deteriorating for him to even think of this as an option. Was he really that desperate for Neville to approve of him at least one bit? Perhaps subconsciously he was. Or was that only the Spice and Sugar talking out of him, which lately he was using more than the usual. But now that he has schedules this already and came here, there was no sense in him backing out. Andrei might have been a lot of things, but he wasn't a coward. At least not most of the time.

Walking into the Hog's head, his eyes scanned the room as he was trying to find the person he was searching for. Susan Bones. His research about her didn't bring him any information he didn't already know. She was an Order Member and an Editor for the Daily Prophet, or at least she was as she recently quit that job. She was Amelia's mother, which made her insane just by default. And she was apparently divorced. She was a good dueler and a talented witch. But Andrei didn't need his younger Dark Followers researching her for hours to find that out. Just a simple glance at her could tell you all of that as well.

"Miss Bones", he said trying to be polite, as that in fact was the way he was raised. Nothing should come in front of him manners. "It's nice to meet you, again. I believe we have met before. In the Leauky Cauldron. Am I right?", he asked.
