Death Eater Ranking System

The Dark Lord

The head of the Death Eaters and the ultimate position of power within the group. The Dark Lord is the most respected and powerful figure in the Death Eaters. The title is synonymous with Voldemort when he reigned over the Death Eaters and continued being used after his death and was given to whoever was in charge. Ne'Os Emof was the last Dark Lord before Aaron Marcheti assumed the mantle.

Seraphim

There are only two Seraphim's in the Death Eaters and they are the hands of the Dark Lord. Seraphim's who the Dark Lord trust's the most and often assume leadership when the Dark Lord is not present. They are also referred to as "Lords" and the only person that they answer to is the Dark Lord himself. To become a Seraphim one has to prove to the Dark Lord that they are dedicated to not only the Death Eaters as a whole, but to the Dark Lord himself. They must be able to command respect and take the place of the Dark Lord in times of need.

Cherubim

Cherubim's are the wizards and witches that are most likely to be found around the Dark Lord. They are like royal guards and provide protection for the Dark Lord. In some ways they are more trusted than Seraphim's because the Dark Lord trusts them to protect him at all costs. A Cherubim must be willing to give his or her life for the Dark Lord or the Death Eaters. They must be strong, smart, cunning, and not afraid of any situation. There can only be four Cherubim's at any time. They answer to the Seraphim's and the Dark Lord himself.

Dominions

Dominions are, in a sense, the council for the Dark Lord. If there is a time when the Dark Lord needs to delegate then he will go to his Dominions. A member of the Dominion usually has vast knowledge of the Death Eaters and they know what is best for the group. To be a Dominion is a great honor but it comes with no perks. A Dominion can also have another title.

Archangels

Archangels are the proven members of the Death Eaters. This is where most of the members fall. Archangels are the bread and butter of the Death Eaters because they are the soldiers, so to speak. An Archangel has been branded with the Dark Mark and has been accepted by the Dark Lord himself as a Death Eater. If someone were to run into a Death Eater at random, it would probably be an Archangel. Everyone who does not have a title falls into this category.

Alright guys, this is the hierarchy I am wanting to implement. I really would like some feedback. Do you like it? Is there something you do not understand? Where does your character fit? Pretty much everyone has been given a mission in the last DE meeting and I will be placing everyone accordingly after they are done. The system is purely IC and has no pull OOC. ( Obviously )

I imagine this is only for the Death Eater faction. Beneath Archangels you'd have helper groups like the Dark Followers, and the snatchers in the books, or dark goblins and the like.

Indeed it is. I thought about having titles for people like that, but since we do not really have any currently, I decided to skip it and keep it pretty basic for now.

Yeah. You can develop it as we go along.

I wouldn't even develop it. I'd just leave it as is. If you're not a Death Eater what makes you good enough for a name?

I really like this system.

I think Vincent should be a dominion, and maybe eventually a seraphim. While it is understandable that Aaron does not trust him completely, Vincent has pretty much been the most successful DE on this site, having sacked Grimmauld Place, occupied Hogwarts and defeated Shacklebolt. He's not really a fighter though, more of a strategist, hence why he doesn't belong in Cherubims.
