Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

For the first time in quite a while it was finally not snowing and the paths were beginning to clear up. The snow was melting away and it was finally safe to walk around again. Though in some places the ground was still icy and slippery. Mariposa was walking out to Hogsmeade with her young charge Jeimy. The young Ravenclaw girl walked in front of her the entire time skipping down the streets and occasionally almost slipping on the ice. Even with all the snow still on the ground it seemed everyone in the world was at Hogsmeade right now.

Soon the seventeen year old began to lose sight of the younger girl and she started to worry about what would happen if she lost her completely. Though before she lost complete sight on her, Mariposa noticed that she had found one of her Ravenclaw friends and that they were headed toward the Three Broomsticks, and she sighed. At least now she knew where to find Jeimy after she got what she needed to done. After all the twelve year old hardly ever moved from where she was once she was there with friends.

So now that she didn't have to worry about the girl, the Gryffindor continued walking through the crowded streets and she looked around for the store she had wanted to go to. It still amazed her how crowded the streets got, even after being there for seven years. She guessed that these places would never cease to amaze her for as long as she was there.

Odd. Saige thought as he walked through the streets of Hogsmeade. It had been snowing lightly for a week now and today, it had finally stopped. Saige had grown used to the snow, It had brought comfort to him to see it. He walked carefully down the street for there was still ice on the ground that could easily be slipped on if he wasn't careful.

It had been over a year since the death of Sage Tyler and he had slowly gotten over her. Every day he had come back to Hogsmeade to watch as the students went about their day. Saige missed being at hogwarts with his friends. He missed the countless days of studying and goofing off. Now that he was anadult, he couldn't mess around the same as he used to. He was more mature and had been for the past eight months

Saige leaned against the wall of one of the buildings and sighed. To him, the cold weather was quite relaxing. Ever since he was yough he quite liked the cold weather, considering he lived near the mountains half of his life. Sometimes he even wished it would be like this every day of the year.

This weather wasn't so bad. Really it wasn't. Sure it was so cold you couldnt feel your fingers at times or you could slip at any moment because the ground was icy. But once you got past that it wasn't bad. Winter was a time where you could have fun with snow. Build snowmen, play with friends, and be with your family. This season was fun if people would just look past the bad parts, like all the storms, and tried to enjoy spending time together.

The seventeen year old Gryffindor began to debate whether or not she should go back to Jeimy. She knew she couldn't leave the girl alone for too long because if she did and someone saw her only with her little friends it could ruin what they were working for. Having her adopt the younger girl after she graduated. That was only one year away now, and they couldn't afford to have anything go wrong. But she knew that Jeimy needed her space sometimes and she wanted to spend time with her friends alone, without her. That was why she hadn't followed the twelve year old to the Three Broomsticks when she had the chance.

Her mind distracted with thoughts of the young Ravenclaw girl, Mariposa wasn't really watching where she was going. She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard someone yell near her. She looked up quickly to find a man standing in front of her, looking furious. She smiled sheepishly, knowing she had nearly bumped into him and apologized quickly. He merely glared at her and walked away still looking quite angry. Mariposa sighed softly as she watched him leave and when she turned back around, she didnt see the piece of ice that was in front of her, and continued to walk. Her foot landing on top of the ice, she slipped and felt herself go up in the air slightly, and soon felt herself falling back down.
