Wally wanted to conduct a small social experiment. Okay, not really, she was just sick and tired of having huge crowds of people in the Ravenclaw common room at night when she was finishing up all of her schoolwork. It was too late to leave the Ravenclaw tower, and the dorm was usually too dark and too full of giggling girls to be the proper work environment.
Lately, though, the common room was just as bad. The boys this year were a lot rowdier for whatever reason, and the girls giggled even more- Wally simply could not stand giggling. How it bothered her…. So, this social experiment was not intended to be that- that was her excuse, naturally- but it was more of a way to get all the morons out of the tower so she could work in peace.
It was not too much to ask, now was it?
She had left dinner early and went down to the kitchens and asked for a few nice dishes, then she had hurried up to the tower. After reasoning her way through the eagle’s question, she had dropped the dishes off in the common room and collected the bag of sweets from her trunk in her dorm. Then it was a simple feat of dumping all of the snacks into the dishes.
Two boys came in laughing and Wally remained behind her book. There were dishes everywhere, so it did not take long for them to find the sweets. They both grabbed one and bit into them, preparing to set up a game of Exploding Snap… when suddenly, one of the boys turned into a canary and the other began projectile vomiting. The latter ran upstairs and the other flew in panicked circles before he molted and fell to the ground. He turned and ran after his friend.
Wally lazily raised her wand and said, “Wingardium Leviosa.” She made the carpet rise up and go over the mess, never having been great with cleaning spells..
