Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Shoulder To Shoulder Is How We Like It Empty Shoulder To Shoulder Is How We Like It

Spoiler:

Renny hung up the last of her dresses in her closet and took a step back. She had her hair tied up in a ribbon, as usual, dressed typically- modestly, yet in a way that somehow complimented her natural, radiant beauty. She hummed some tune she had picked up on the wireless as she brushed back a strand of hair, stepping back to view the closet. Yes, it was full of her dresses, but it was organized and neat. She toed one of the pairs of shoes stepped away from the closet.

She walked over to her bed and slid the largest, and now empty, suitcase off of her bed, slipping it underneath. The other two held things like books, art supplies, toiletries for her restroom, and all the little extras. She had felt bad, leaving her family. But it had to be done. She was working on getting Jerris and Piper with her exclusively. There were a few extra rooms in the house and she would pay for them to live there as well.

She paused, turning her head to and fro to take in the room. She still had some sprucing to do, but she had charmed the ugly mustard yellow walls into a light blue laced with pink diamonds- very vintage, very soft, very Renny. The hardwood had been cleaned with a few spells, the dust wiped from the crevices, a lemon-y scent beginning to waft through the air from the spray.

She paused, feeling as though she had forgotten something. She ran a hand through her hair and paused as it tangled itself there. She turned and blinked, facing an empty stretch of wall, trying to figure out what she had possibly forgotten.

Shoulder To Shoulder Is How We Like It Empty Re: Shoulder To Shoulder Is How We Like It

Yawning, Trowa padded up the stairs with another box full of gear from the living room where the fireplace had spat out him and all of his things. Everything seemed vaguely intact and he was wondering why he hadn’t used some sort of bottomless charm on the boxes and then a lightening charm. Of course, that hadn’t occurred to Trowa at the time and he was more interested with just getting out of his family home and away from the chilly silence that surrounded it.

Since he’d announced that he was moving, his mother had done little but utter a few words to him; three syllables at best. Trowa had been hurt at first, and he still was, but he soon got over it as he found that he had little time to mope. He still had work. He’d moved from Gladrags to Madam Malkin’s in Diagon Alley and his patrons had moved with him, asking for even more now that he had real time on his hands away from school. Trowa was more than willing to oblige them and he was now near-constantly being Owled by the Goblins at Gringotts telling him that another payment had come through that he needed to check on or something of the like. Trowa, for once, had plenty of money, and he had no idea what to do with it.

He wasn’t going to buy a racing broom or something stupid. He decided he was just going to let it sit and he figured for the time being it would be best to focus on moving.

After lugging the last of the boxes into his room, Trowa began to unpack. It was a slow process as he carefully took each piece of his room from before and built it up again. He slotted his books into place, pushed the mannequins against the far wall and put the curtains on the curtain rail. He put his mp3-player on the chest of drawers and docked it into the speakers before quickly picking a playlist and carrying on with his work. He was in his element and didn’t stop until his stomach gave an almighty grumble.

Then Trowa decided he’d go and find Renny.

He left his room and padded down the corridor towards her room. He knocked on the door and stuck his head around the side, beaming at the girl and taking a moment to appraise her legs and the way that dress hugged her bum so deliciously. Trowa shook his head clear of the impure thoughts about his friend and cocked his head towards the stairs.

“Hungry? I’ll make us something to eat.” He offered.

Shoulder To Shoulder Is How We Like It Empty Re: Shoulder To Shoulder Is How We Like It

The pink diamond wallpaper was rather hypnotic, really. There was a light gold trim that extended from the sides of the diamonds and reached across the expanse of blue before continuing along the edges of the other diamonds, creating a never ending, uniform pattern. The more she stared at it, the more she became lost in the pattern than she came up with any answers to the question in her head. She could not place what she had forgotten.

Perhaps, it was just her family. She felt odd without her grandmother causing a scene, treating her like her own personal Cinderella. She felt out of place without Jerris scampering in to ask if she could rescue him from the anarchy and take him to the park. And worst off, she felt alone without her rotten sister there to need guidance over. Piper still needed her and it bothered Renny that she could not have her eye on the girl anymore. Whether or not they seemed like it, they were sisters, they loved each other. Or at least, Renny loved Piper. Piper loved Renny. Renny thought Piper loved her.

Renny was about seventy-four percent sure Piper loved her.

No worse that fifty eight percent.

She heard a voice that drug her out of her stupor. She turned around, her dresh swishing around her knees, her hand still in her hair. She saw Trowa's eyes flick up to hers and she gave him a warm smile. "Oh, hello Trowa!" He offered to make them something to eat and a look of thought crossed her face. "Oh, yes- what time is it?" She looked around for a clock and realized she had yet to unpack her alarm. She smiled. "I'm guessing time to stop unpacking and eat?" She laughed lightly.
