K haat Lupin went missing from her office at St. Mungo's late yesterday evening. Not much is known at this time about the incident. There were signs of forced entry according to sources from inside the hospital.
Many nurses report the events of yesterday evening started with the appearance of Naomi Quinn Greyback, who was taken hostage by Felix Barker some time ago. They reported she appeared bruised and bloody, and demanded to be treated by Khaat herself, she was then taken to a room.
Upon a search for Khaat, staff realized she was missing, they returned to Naomi's room only to find a suspected imperioused nurse, disguised as Naomi using polyjuice potion. Sources say they saw Naomi heading in the direction of Khaats office with an unknown male nurse.
Representatives said Minister Lupin was immediately working to try to find the kidnapper of the Chief Warlock. He feels confident her release will be secured swiftly and promises to bring the culprit to justice. The minister allegedly has some leads on the would be kidnapper and is working with aurors to secure Khaat's safety.
This event comes just two weeks after Khaat was taken hostage by Felix Barker, who is still at large. Anyone with information about last nights events are asked to contact the Ministry straight away.
The ministry is offering a reward for information leading to the safe return of Khaat Lupin and the conviction of her kidnapper.
