GENERAL APPEARANCE: Marki is sort of eccentric when it comes to her own personal style. Somedays she will throw on sweats and preach that appearance is superficial. Other days, she will put on zany outfits with mismatched shoes, random glasses, and sweaters on backwards. There's no point in asking why; she doesn't know herself.
Her hair is usually either down and sort of mused, or she had it pulled up into a side-sweep sort of thing. She has round cheeks and a happy face, reminding people of a chipmunk, hence her nicknames. She has freckles and sometimes wears reading glasses, just for the heck of it. She usually has a smile on her face.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Marki's mother was a witch, and when her father found out, he ran off. She was only a few months old, so she never knew him, though she is sure he is a pathetic loser not worth finding. Her mother remarried when she was two to a more understanding muggle man named Carl Gordon and they had their first child together a year later. Marki was a happy kid and never really had problems. She was a leader with a ragtag group of neighborhood kids and all was happy... until her mother died when she was ten. Their family was terribly affected. Carl fully adopted Marki and Marki's only relative, her great aunt Claire, moved in to help the family.
Hogwarts Years: Marki was the only one in the family with magic (Aunt Claire was a squib) and she often felt isolated once everyone in the family knew she was capable of magic. So when she got her Hogwarts letter, it was quite the relief, as though it were all justified.
