Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Niov blinked at the girls words, her evil smile fading ever so slightly, leaving only its ghost, its shadow. This seemed to highlight the tragic fact that she was not human and make her even more haunting as she lurked above the two girls. The other one acted calmly and began to bark orders.

Niov would have sighed if it was not such a un-mysterious thing to do. Demons did not sigh. But it seemed these humans seemed determined to stunt her fun. Her hand shot our and grabbed the one who had mistaken Niov as a death eater by the forearm, lifting her off of her feet and bringing her close to her face. Her smile burst onto her face, making her features even more grotesque.

Niov's raspy voice seemed to rumble across the floor. She saw the looks humans made when she spoke. The low rasp of her voice was like a vibration that crept through toe floor, up to your feet and into your stomach. If you let yourself, you would almost feel as though the words were coming from you...

"And what side are you associating yourself with, girl? The one that will be slaughtering the human race?" She brought the girl so close to her face that their noses almost touched. "Doubtful." She threw the girl towards the other one, letting her fly towards the girl who held a wand.

Post by Brienne Ravenquist Tue Aug 24, 2010 1:11 am

"Go away, demon!" Brienne looked quite angry, her voice becoming ever so more threatening. Growling and growing ever so angrier, her wolfish ears flattened and her canine teeth bared. No, she wasn't turning, she just looked like that when angry, besides it was daytime which meant no moon could turn her even if it was full and did show. Her eyes narrowed to add to the intimidation.

Luna forced herself under the seat, she was too scared to fight alongside Brienne.

Brienne continued telling the demon to go away with increasingly foul language and more cues that she'd become animalistic at any given moment.

The demon lieutenant stepped onto the train hearing the floor creak a slight bit as he did. He looked around and walked down the corridor he wasn't like most of the other demons he had not been here since latin was still spoken the world was very different. He passed a few compartments filled with children that did there best to hide. He stopped at the last compartment of this car he did not look in he just stood outside he slowly turned and looked in studying it closely.

Balrog, red demon with ancient warrior black fight marks all over his body appeared on the top of the train with a short shiver. He burned the part of the roof and jumped into the train hall that was filled with alot of tasty children that seemed like a rather sweet target for him. "Hey there mind if i join you?" said Balrog with his usual dark deep voice. This demon was hard to control, but accepted certain amount of authority.

The moment after his hands were in front of him as the fireball appeared in each of them. They flew towards the two girls that seemed to threaten Niov. He did not like cocky children. "So do you prefer to die roasted or by my hand? I won't mind doing both." he said having a crazy evil grin on his face.

Lucy could hear the voices out in the corridor, unlike any she had heard before. The train was still motionless. She didn't know how long it would be until it started up again.

Quietly, she picked her way across the compartment and slid back the latch on the window.

Jack snarled as the demon seemed to ignore her and moved closer to the compartment that held her best friend, well once best friend, Chase and she whistle before shouting, "Oi! Toerag!" Her anger and fear wrestled with each other and her anger took over and she strode forward, whipping out her wand with a flourish.

"You...thing. Yeah you!" Her anger flared and she tried to stare at his horrible disfigured face without losing her lunch... She flinched and stared up at him and shook her head. Her teeth bared slightly, not allowing herself to be frightened by it. "What are you looking for, huh?"

(gonna guess thats aimed at me Razz)

Neqa'el turned and faced the female human that was shouting at him. He stared at her as he listened to her voice patterns and figured out the language she was speaking. In a slow shaky voice it said "Female human i look for nothing for i expect nothing. But i shall feast on your heart as the civilizations of old once did as they worshiped me not realizing i was not their god. He looked at her again smiling at the wand in her hand "It is a mistake a species such as yours discovered magic in the first place" he added his english starting to perfect.

Brienne dodged a fireball that went toward her, but barely. It singed the top of her head, but she still didn't feel like backing down. However, she did recoil, then smashed the glass of the window above the seat. If she could manage to get the little kids out through it they'd be safe. She'd be a hero, and would have more room in case she had to fight the demons. If she could. If not, there was an escape route that would cause less injury to her than the demons. After all, a window on a train couldn't kill her.

It was crazy...for a minute there, she thought she could just give in and give up. No! No longer.

"You think you can kill a werewolf? Especially one that's more werewolf than human? Dream on!" Brienne's teeth bared with a louder, more guttural growl.

(yesh xD)

Jack refused to let her eyes dart towards the compartment where she knew Chase was, probably frozen, staring out and wondering whether or not the hulking monster was going to barge into her compartment or attempt to attack her. Jack's heart hammered as though she was working on defusing a bomb.

She licked her lip slowly, knowing somewhere that overconfidence would piss him off and lead him to attack her, yet weakness would lead him to torture her. She would need to find a balance, though she knew that she would rather have either of those than let the thing get to Chase. Jack's whole reasoning over the summer had been solely based on preserving the safety and sanity of her friends, even if it meant sacrificing her own. Jack had always been that way, and nothing had changed.

"Hmm, you are an Aztec then?" she said. "Then why were you speaking Latin?" She did not know what he had said, but had recognized it. She thought first of the Aztecs when he had mentioned the feasting of hearts. She hoped that by bringing up these facts that may or may not apply to him would help bring the focus on her and maybe frustrate him, keep him talking with her.

"And whether you like or not, we found it, and some of us have perfected it." She held out her hand and summoned Bluebell flames in her hand, leaving them to hover over her hand, making her look rather intimidating. She, of course, still had a lot to learn about magic, but she was no idiot and she would play up her abilities as much as she could.
