And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Homework is just troublesome as far as I'm concerned. There should be no homework and just more practising in classes." He said teasing her as well. "Yeah I guess. Maybe something could happen during the ride, like an invasion or something, I don't kno' .. Something evil." He said laughing, as he yawned. "So what you been up to since you slept over at my house?" He asked, chuckling slightly at his remark.

Julia smiled as he joked with her, not taking anything he said there seriously. "Maybe" She said. Julia could simply tell that something was going to happen, especially with last year's events, an invasion would be nothing out of the norm. "Sounds like you're expecting something" She said truthfully, "But I am too. I wouldn't be surprised if something did happen, though." She nodded. "Nothing, really. It's been pretty boring" She noted "What about you? Anything interesting happen?" She asked.

Lucy walked through the barrier of platform nine and three quarters and smiled at the steaming scarlet and black train before her. Pulling her trunk behind her she went through the crowd heading towards the train that would lead her badck to Hogwarts for her fourth year. As she fianlly reached it she gave her trunk and her owl to the guy who was putting peoples trunks away. As she looked for Louis or Nick she sighed when she didn't see anyone of them anywhere. "Maybe there already on the train."Lucy thought to herself."said she gotten on the train and looked for them.

Desmond fell through the invisble barrier that helped seperate the muggle world from the magical world right under their noses. He had tripped on a large rock that someone had decided to throw down there as a joke, almost tipping his entire cart over. Yet, it just slammed into another pillar, backing up towards him. He stood up, brushing off his clothing which were actually pretty old. His dad always wanted him to wear something new for an occasion such as that, but he knew he would have to change into his standard Hogwarts robes as well.

Looking around, he was hoping to see someone he knew, yet could not manage to find anyone just yet. Great, now he was alone at the station. He brushed some of his free hairs out of his face and let out a small groan. He would just have to search. Grabbing onto the handles of the cart, he pushed it closer and closer to the train, wondering where he would have to set his bags at. He would have someone help him out, yet this time he didn't know anyone to help. He watched someone board their stuff though, quickly placing his items where they had put theirs. At least he knew where to put it from now on.

He turned his body, overlooking the large crowd before him and still couldn't find any of his friends. Maybe he could meet the Quidditch captain or something...he really wanted to try out for that year. Maybe a seeker or something, but most people had been telling him that he occupied that role. Chaser was always going to be his second choice.

Leanne saw Desmond through her compartment windov. It was the first familiar face today. "Desmond hey Desmond over here!!" she called out waving so he could see her through the crowd of the arriving noisy crowd of students. Her compartment was empty so far so she hoped to make it more full before the train would depart for Hogwarts. Good 8 hours on the train wasn't fun to spend. Her cat tried to escape from her basket so she grabbed him and placed him in her lap where he sat boredly. Wouldn't be too fun if he started chasing other people's rats around the train.

Desmond eye's widened once he heard a familiar voice. He couldn't exactly hear the voice entirely, with everyone else talking and all. He turned his head casually towards the source of the voice and saw his friend Leanne sitting at a nearby compartment. He blinked a couple of times and then walked over to her, a smile on his face. Well he at least had one person he knew on the train. "Hey Leanne," he said, his smile dominating most of his face "I see you have a cat. What's its name?"

Desmond then thought of where his owl might have been. It was a snowy owl, a gift from his dad using a lot of muggle money, and had no idea where it had been. Most likely some place receiving a letter to give to Desmond at some point. "I have an owl myself," he said calmly "a snowy owl I believe"

Leanne smiled back at her friend as he entered her compartment. It was nice to see him again after a weird shopping day they had few days ago. "Hey there how are you doing?" she said saluting him as her cat mewed very loudly trying to jump on Desmond. "Bad Jake sit down. Awww he likes you." she said as her cat was still observing Desmond with great intrest. "He is Jake. Why don't you sit down?" she asked curiously looking at 5 empty seats. Hers was only one by the windov.

"You believe you have one? Don;'t you know for sure?" Leanne asked smiling at this comment though she seemed soft as always. "What's your owl's name?" she asked curiously as she was trying to hold Jake from jumping on her friend.

Desmond sat down on the seat across from Leanne, sighing softly as he was able to find someone to talk to for the next...eight hours. Oh god... he thought to himself, feeling like he would be unable to cope with the long journey. Sure, it would be less boring with Leanne with him and all, but he would have to wait...and wait...and wait for the train to arrive at Hogsmeade. It was going to be a pain in the rear. When Leanne's cat tried to pounce on him, he flinched backwards, pushing on the cushions of the bench.

"Umm..." he said, in an awkward tone as he looked at the cat "It's a uh...very curious cat." When she asked him about his owl, he shrugged his arms up and down and said "Well my dad had got it for me. I couldn't think of a name for the little guy, so my dad named him. It's name is Reuben." His dad was horrible with names, and even Desmond questioned his name. He had tried to look it up on the internet before, yet could not find anything. Maybe it was because he was 8 at the time and barely knew how to use the computer. Oh well.

He looked his head out the window, noticing that they were still in the station. He groaned softly, turning his head back towards Leanne. "When are we supposed to leave anyway?" he asked curiously "Weren't we supposed to leave, like 10 minutes ago? Or an hour?"

The Hogwarts Express - Page 3 Empty Re: The Hogwarts Express

Post by Elijah Krum Wed Aug 18, 2010 3:33 am

With a cigarette between his lips, Elijah appeared on the other side of the magical barrier that separated the Muggle world from the Magical one. Mummy and Daddy had left their son to his own devices for the majority of the summer which meant that Elijah had spent most of it drunk lying in his bed in Paris with someone wrapped around him. It was definitely the way he had wanted to spend the summer but he couldn’t remember much of it. The few times he wasn’t completely wasted, he spent with Fauve. She seemed pleased enough to be in his presence again. He did spend a few days with her after he ditched Paris. He didn’t meet the quota his dealer wanted which meant that he was in trouble so he skipped out. The Frenchman was not happy and Elijah knew that before he’d even left. This meant that not only did the Bulgarian owe his friend money but he owed the man money. A lot of time would definitely be spent in his dormitory. The Room of Requirement wasn’t a place he could sleep in for another year. That meant he had to personalise his area of the damn dorm. Great.

Elijah had earphones in his ears and his iPod was in his jacket pocket. One of his father’s associates had managed to reprogram it so it wouldn’t be affected by magic. He also made sure that the battery wouldn’t run out which was just as well because Elijah had every intention of listening to it in Wilson’s classes. It was his sixth year and Elijah vaguely remembered getting a lecture from his father about studying hard or something. He had a year to still muck around. Next year mattered more than this one did. Even so, he’d probably only attend a few of his classes. Oh well. Dark Arts was something he couldn’t really avoid. He was fairly certain that Archer would have his balls mounted on her wall if he didn’t show up. Jen would have done the same and that was why he didn’t sign up for Herbology. Who liked plants anyway?

Lugging his trunk up onto his shoulder, Elijah kept his arm around the side his head wasn’t on. Once he had a good hold on the thing, he took his cigarette from his mouth and blew smoke up into the air. It mingled in with the steam puffing out of the chimney of the train and he smiled before depositing the cigarette back between his lips. Elijah jumped onto the train and he walked down the corridor. The first years were crowding the corridor and he was sorely tempted to drop his trunk one some of them. They were really beginning to irritate him because not only were they under his feet but they wouldn’t move either. “Oh for fu- MIDGETS GET OUT OF THE GODDAMN WAY AND FIND A DAMN COMPARTMENT!” his yell of frustration seemed to get the point across and the First Years scrambled into the compartments. A few brave ones lingered but they soon stepped out of the way when they saw the murderous look on his face. Elijah wasn’t exactly the type to keep his temper when he was irritated. He stopped beside one of the corridor windows and dropped his trunk down. He pushed the window up and sat down on the trunk. He put his feet flat up against the wall opposite him and took his cigarette again, flicking some of the ash out of the window afterwards "Bloody first years..." He muttered with a smile to himself.
