Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The egg.

See, the chicken is a mutation of an already existing bird. Birds lay eggs. Therefore, the egg the chicken was hatched out of came first.

It's very basic evolution.

Indeed it is. and i think the chicken might actually be a indirect evolution of a tyrannosaurus Rex.

I think that the chicken came first. I don't think that a random egg can just appear. There had to be a chicken to birth that egg before it appeared. -shrugs- To me, it's just like everything else. But, I don't believe in evolution, so yeah. Smile

Most people don't "believe in" evolution. Belief implies faith. When something can be proved (and there are parts of evolutionary theory that can), you don't need to have faith in it.

How would the egg hatch if there wasn't a chicken there to keep it warm, and how would it survive after hatching without a mother to bring it food? Nuf said. *looks smug* Wink

It could if the chicken was a freak of nature at the time. Naturally the mother what ever species it was at the time kept it warm and fed it like its own.

That, my dear friend, would be the god of all chickens. He was the one who gave life to all other chickens and started out as the egg as well. He has been sung in folklore and made into legends...until the farmers killed him for food.
