Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Making a offer that would be unwise to refuse (Khaat,Open) - Page 6 Empty Re: Making a offer that would be unwise to refuse (Khaat,Open)

Post by Robert Lupin Wed Mar 03, 2010 4:15 am

OOC: (Robert doesn't want your head on his wall, Ne'Os. He wants Khaat to leave you very much alive and to have the pleasure of sentencing you to Azkaban for eternity! LOL)

Robert knew that no young twerp would simply unwind a Contego spell with a simple finite. It was much too advanced a spell to be undone that simply. But, just to be sure, the minute he saw Faelan assembling a wand from his daggers, he put an additional "Contego!" in place to shield her.

Khaat saw Faelan forming a weapon, too, and she had no desire to be at the end of it. She had a rather simple strategy for avoiding him. She simply apparated out of his way, keeping hold of Rob to take him out of the way along with her, to keep him out of harm's way as well. She reappeared with Rob across the room.

It wasn't very imaginative, but it did seem to be effective at the moment. She felt her father's spell reinforcing itself around her and Rob. "Avada Kedavra!" she fired her wand at Faelan. "Sorry," she apologized to Rob quickly, "I just really am not in the mood to lose either of us today to a few punks who are still wet behind the ears. " Her eyes drifted up to the beam above her where Jen was about to be engaged in a knife fight. She was about to ask Rob if Jen needed help, but she noticed the sparkle in her eyes. Jen was having much too much fun. Yep, she was doing just fine on her own. That earned Jen a few respect points in Khaat's book. "Use your leglimancy, Rob," Khaat suggested very softly in his ear. "That seems to be how he's ordering his bunch. It might give us an edge or at least reduce his."

Peter stopped spin attacking when he felt his dagger hit the girl but not hard enough. He looked around to see her on the ceiling and the guy with another girl in the room. He frowned, he knew that it was a bad start. So he pulled his wand out and had it in his left hand while still having the dagger in his right hand. He threw the dagger at Jess, then pulled out the shiney, reflective thingy that Ne'Os gave him to reflect he spells, while dodging spells at the same time. He then pointed his wand at the floor in between all of them, shouting. "Bombardum." He knew that Ne'Os and Fealan would get out of the way. He then pointed his wand at the old man. "Crucio, Avada Kadavara!" He shouted watching the new boy hovering on the ceiling with the other girl.

Ne'Os and faelan aperated away from the blast and apeared on either side of Faelan Ne'Os sent another mental command "All spells keep them silent if you can if we can stay silent it will unerve them". Ne'Os gave Khaat a smile and sent a tourture curse at her silently.

Jen mirrored the boy’s stance but she wasn’t serious. She wasn’t going to fight a child hand to hand because she could A. Inflict horrible damage on him and B. Probably just ... get bored. Neither of those options seemed too disastrous for her but she really didn’t want to fight a child who probably had got himself stuck neck high in pure innocence. She commended him though. He was brave, maybe not too smart but he had balls which was something she couldn’t say about most of her opponents.

But she had a problem. She had the awful affliction of underestimating her opponents and when she did she made mistakes and large ones at that. Jen bit her lip and kept her eyes on the boy, waiting for any sudden movements to come from him. Compassion was probably what was annoying her more than anything – that an the nagging feeling of guilt that was creeping up behind her and waiting for her to make the mistake that could cost her life and/or a few limbs.

“I wouldn’t consider myself a threat to everyone” Jen shrugged. “just most of you.” She continued to watch, just watch. She wasn’t going to fight the child. God, she just couldn’t really deal with fighting children. It was incredibly insulting considering that he had a pretty good chance of beating her – well, a slim one. “Why are you doing this? What could come to you in exchange for following this prat? Surely he has his head in the skies and you’re trying to follow him it seems. Do you want acceptance like all of the other idiotic Death Eaters or perhaps... you think because you’re with him you’re safe in some respect? Tell me, I’m interested.”

Andrian raised his eyebrows and smirked as he saw what Ne'os had done. Typical. Always with the dagger, he thought and with a swift movement he waved his wand. "Protego! Reducto!" he muttered exploding the dagger. He stood there for a moment, waiting for the dust to clear then started to turn around, swinging his arm to shoot a spell at him. "Stupefy," he thought as a red jet of light flew from his wand to Ne'os.

Post by Godric Delk Malfoy Wed Mar 03, 2010 8:17 am

Godric laughed. She couldn't be more wrong about why he was 'helping' Ne'os. He shook his head. I've got my reasons for keeping Ne'Os close. I don't want any one to die here. And if that means removing you from the battle field, then so be. I'm not exactly one of his little cronies. I'm a hired blade. As he said this he lunged forward, but mid lunge, even on the catwalks of the rafters, he went into a handstand, aiming a flip kick at the female's abdoman, and landing gracefully back on his feet.

Don't count me in with those three down there, I've got more experiance killing then the two children. And maybe even more then Ne'Os himself.

Ne'Os felt his dagger fall to ask. Someone had used magic on it. That was little problem to him he could use magic to fix it but he decided to let the unknown person have that one. He Drew a second wand. Now he was holding the elder wand and that wand the guard's wand was aimed at Andrian he thoguth, deprimo. The other aimed at Khaat. he had a new plan he thought, Incarcerous thick ropes flew at her. Ne'Os was going to kidnap her and hold her ransom.

Post by Baldric Pierson Wed Mar 03, 2010 5:22 pm

Rob saw the ropes and his eyes widened. He pulled Khaat away and took his wand out from behind his ear; Ne’os truly was stupid if he thought that he could take his wife from him. Rob aimed his wand at Ne’os and decided that perhaps his sister wouldn’t deal with it as she’d planned. Jen was overconfident and he glanced up to see her fighting with the teenager in the rafters. He grimaced and pulled Khaat behind him. “Stupefy!” he yelled, knowing that really the spell was useless. “Emof are you brain-dead!?!” He’d decided then and there that Ne’os would have to prise Khaat out of his cold, dead hands if he wanted her that badly. No one was going to steal Khaat or Abbey from him. Ever.

OOC: Poor Rob xD Anyway... There's his post. Jen is easier to write me thinks. Rob is more conflicted. Lalalalalalalaaaa..

Post by Hugo Weasley Wed Mar 03, 2010 5:25 pm

To say that Jen wasn’t confused would be a lie. She didn’t understand his motives even if he had something of worth to Ne’os. Jen narrowed her eyes at the child and watched him move, he was sharp and seemed to know what he was doing but Jen stepped easily off of the rafter. She grabbed hold of it and spun herself around so she ended up back in the same spot, effectively missing his hit. “You do know that there is no way you’re going to remove me from this ‘battle field’ as you so call it. The only way you’ll get rid of me is if you kill me so your claims are pretty useless. I’m not leaving until that rat is dead and/or as far away from my family as humanly possible.”
