After Hours (for Scorpius)

Melanie was lying down on the long black leather couch of the Slytherin Common Room, staring into the flames directly ahead of her. It was after hours, and everyone was supposed to be asleep in their dormitories. Only Melanie wasn't. She had gotten into a fight with her friends in the same dormitories over guys they liked, and now, being the drama queen she was, she had decided not to sleep in the same dorms as them. Just to make them feel guilty about what they had done. And therefore she had decided to just spend the night at the common room. No one was here after all, so she would just sleep for some time before getting up early and making up with her friends, and hearing them apologize, it was all planned out.

Still, right now she just didn't feel sleepy, she felt bored. A muggle book lay next to her, Romeo and Juliet, one of her favorite love stories, but she didn't feel like reading it again right now. The common room was quiet, a little too quiet. It unsettled Melanie. The quiet always made her hear stuff and make her overreact to little noises. It also made her quite bored, as there was no one in sight, there was nothing to do. She liked talking and chatting with other girls, or flirting with other boys. But for now, there was no one there to talk to.

Looking down at herself, Melanie admired her own nightgown. It was silky satin, expensive and also very short, revealing all her legs. Looking at her own appearance, Melanie smiled slightly, enjoying how gorgeous she looked. Sighing, she conjured a pillow using her wand, and a blanket. She then lay back on the couch and closed her eyes.

Melanie was just drifting to sleep when she heard footsteps coming closer. She opened her eyes but didn't straighten up. Clearly, they were coming from the Slytherin boys dormitory. Hoping it wasn't some ickle firsty and some teenage boy instead. Lucky, it was a boy, and Scorpius Malfoy at that. Quickly, she closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep.

She was wondering why Scorpius would be here at this time of night, still dressed in his robes, but it was a good thing. He was the type of boy she would go for. He was even more well known than her, after Albus Potter, he was perhaps the most popular boy at school. Her dating him would spread quickly around the campus, making her even more popular. He was also rich. Melanie's father always bought her anything she wanted, but she didn't mind getting presents from someone else, and the Malfoy family were as rich as anyone. Of course, like every girl, she also cared about how good looking the guy was, and Scorpius was as handsome as anyone. Why she hadn't gone for him before even made her confused, after all, he was in her year as well.

She had a plan already, she would spend the night with Scorpius, then brag about it everyone else tommorow. It would just take a little work, after all she had heard that Scorpius had a crush on another girl. Still, it was only a crush, she hoped. And even if it wasn't, the challlenge just made it all the more fun for her.

Turning, she put her elbows on the pilllows and her chin on her hands as she looked at Scorpius. Deciding not to wait, she just decided to surprise him. "What do we have here?" she purred. "What makes someone like you come down here at such late of a time?" she asked.

Melanie smiled as Scorpius jumped as he heard her voice, clearly surprised. As he looked at her, she stared directly at him with her light blue eyes, making eye contact. Eye contact was always important when flirting with guys, it showed confidence in the girl. And Melanie was anything but shy. She also opened her mouth very slightly while looking at him, boys always liked that. With her gorgeous looks, slim body and intense eyes, Melanie was an expert flirter. She had always been a natural at it, but she had also had lots of practice with it through the past few years. Practice makes perfect after all.

"You mean this?" she asked, taking a rather heavytext book she had been looking at while she had been trying to entertain herself by reading. The book was a defense against the dark arts book, and also quite boring. She held it up with one hand to show Scorpius, quite sure it was his. She waited for him to come get it, and she would then lure him to stay with her for a while. Melanie planned out everything beforehand, it was one of her skills.

"Well, I was bored, and my friends were all sleeping. So I decided to come here," she responded truthfully to his question. "I decided to lie down for a while, as there was nothing to do." Until now anyways. "But I am not really sleepy," she added, slowly removing the blanket from her legs, purposefully revealing them, trying to entice him.
