What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Khaat was determined to make herself familiar with the Hogwarts professors if she might, at some point, be assuming their responsibilities as a substitute teacher. She was a bit anxious about being back at Hogwarts after all that had happened and planned not to be as transparent about the old emotional wounds that being back here resurrected for her. But she was doing this for her family. Someone had to take up the causes that her uncle died for, and things usually centered on Hogwarts, she had seen. She brushed off her anxieties and knocked on the professor's office door.

I--um--I've recommitted myself into maintaining my family's heritage in the struggle against the influences of the dark arts. So, if I can be of any assistance as you train these young minds you have in your charge, I am at your disposal--to help you in any way I can. "

Christabelle had missed a great deal of classes. She needed to go and appologize for her absense for her father's death had taken quite a toll on her family. She knocked on the door and waited to be allowed entrance. Hopefully he would be forgiving and give her extra credit.

''Miss Lupin, I apologize but this seems to be a student. I would be happy to accept your help on my classes, but may I be so direct as to ask you to come later today? This may be important and I would love to have a thorough conversation about you and to test your skills. Would you be so kind?'', McCoy asked.

He then opened the door wandlessly and told Christabelle to come in.

Christabelle entered the office closing the door behind her, "Good afternoon professor." she said greeting him, "Is right now alright to speak with you?" she asked him curiously hoping that it was so she could find out how she could make up the classes she had missed.

"I look forward to speaking with you some time , Professor, whenever it is convenient," Khaat said, "Excuse me. It seems I have come at a bad time." Khaat gave the professor and the student a smile and excused herself and left the professor's office.

"Well I know I've missed your class and I wanted to apologize." she said looking at him, "Its not in my nature and I wanted you to also know that I have an extremely good reason. The murder of my father actually pulled me away from my studies for a bit." she explained, "I was just wondering if there was any way I could make up my poor grades for the class I had missed."
