Class One - O.W.L.

Another day, another class. Professor McCoy had replaced professor Emof, who had work in the Ministry, not a long time ago. He liked teaching, especially Transfiguration. He had done some teaching jobs before, but Transfiguration was always his favorite. He wrote his name on the blackboard and sat on his desk, waiting for the students to arrive. He also waved his hand and wrote the title of today's lesson - OBJECT TRANSFIGURATION.

Elijah walked into the Transfiguration classroom with a smile of indifference on his face. He walked over to a desk and put his bag down on the chair. Elijah glanced over to the Professor and read the title and the name of the new Prof. on the board.
"Hey, Professor." Elijah grinned. "I'm Elijah Krum."

He pushed his bag off of the chair and sat down. Elijah opened his bag up and took a notebook out as well as his sketch book and put them on the table. Elijah took out a pot of ink and a quill and put that on the table with the books.

He closed his bag and turned back so he was facing the front. Elijah opened the ink pot and dipped his quill into it. Elijah opened his notebook and wrote the title into it in his usual lazy scrawl. He set his quill down and rested his chin on his hand, who else was going to come to class today?

''Mr. Krum, nice to meet you. But, since you are the only one here, what do you propose? I can give you some information about object transfiguration, but you are also free to leave, since no one showed up and I will not teach only one student, if he does not wish it. Mr. Krum, it is up to you.'', said McCoy with a serious tone. He was definitely bemused by the fact that only one of his O.W.L. students showed up.

Hafiz entered the classroom. Sorry Im late, he told the professor. Hopping he did not mind. He smiled to the professor and take a seat next to his spot.

''Ah, another one. Both Slytherins... strange. But still, I am glad. My name is William Winston McCoy. Now, since there are only two of you I will just give you some short info. Object Transfiguration is the transformation of objects into other objects or living creatures. It can also be applied when transforming living creatures into objects, but we do that rarely, don't we? During our following classes, we will be dealing with Animate to Inanimate Transfiguration and practice some spells involving objects, of course. This is only a short introductory class. You homework, which is due to 28 NOVEMBER, will consist of at least 3 paragraphs. You will name at least three spells and everything about them, that can be used in our following classes. Class dismissed.'', McCoy said.
