Classes suggestion

Hey guys one idea popped onto my mind various days ago so I wish to share it with you.

We should make new groups so each class has its own groups.Why to do this?So we can solve confusion because if we (I won;t adress anyone in particular) want to PM test,notes,homework or anything else regarding the class we have to either PM all students or PM students one by one which is a total waste of time if i might say.Fact is almost no student appears at ALL classes we have so it would help Professors AND students equally.

So I would like to hear your opinion?

That is a good idea, but it would clutter the groups badly. We're talking 3 groups per class, or 36 groups, if i'm not mistaken (Which i probably am, i didn't check how many classes there are.) So i'd say no to the idea, but add that it is a good one nevertheless

Thats a good idea, as long as your willing to do most of it Mari because it will take a loooong time.

I know how to make AND drag people into groups so i could if you want though i would need a list from Jess since he is usually in charge of classes.Or i can serve myself with Daily Prophet thread i'll see.Anyways i'll wait for this term to end since it's in a month or so.

Fortunately, Jess has organized them quite well. Just check them from the courses thread.

That's the final list, i'm about to PM it to the teachers. I still say no, as it would make the groups section incrdibly cluttered, and people would try to apply for class groups without telling me they want to be in that class.
So, if you're doing this please do these things:
1. Label them 'Class name here' "NEWT, OWL, or Normal"
2. Make me the group mod for all of them
3. Change the permissions so i have to approve who wants to join before they're placed in the group
4. Let me make the announcement, and do upkepp on the groups. I'll maintain them, but there's not a chance in hell i'll make them.

If you don't mind doing those things than i guess it'd be alright.
