Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Samantha was so loveing that she was going to another dance. She was puting on her black floor length gown, with black gloves and her hair up in a tight bun. She was smiling thinking of what was going to happen at the dance tonight.

Ginevra was pretty much all ready to go already. She had a few things she wanted to touch up - note why she was here, but since she was not girly, it was more of the things she wanted to do down that she had done up to much. Looking at her hair, she had it straight and down, nice and simple, which was the one thing was agreeing with tonight. Her black dress was okay, but she hated dresses. Her shoes were silver and flat, as she didn't want to raise the chances of tripping, but she preferred runners. What a guy. Looking in the mirror, she didn't notice the Hufflepuff beside her.

Girls Getting Ready For The Dance Empty Re: Girls Getting Ready For The Dance

It didn't take Zoe long to get into her dress. After all it was a short number. Zoe couldn't help but wonder what some of the other girls might be wearing. Usually she didn't really care what others were wearing, but this dance she wanted to be something worth looking at. After many dances, Zoe was finally going to a dance with someone. So many times she has gone to dances alone. A few times she danced, but most of the time she sat on the sidelines. This time would be different. Or at least she hoped it would.

Once she had dress on, Zoe stepped out of the stall. She looked for something to sit on. A chair was positioned in the corner. "Prefect." Zoe said. Walking quickly to it, she sat down. Pulling her on her favorite boots. Once they were on, she stood. Had to get the right fit. Laying down her jacket she went to a sink. After playing with her hair she finally decided to go with a simple up do. Using a silver comb to hold it in place. Of course then her bangs hung. She pulled two small barrettes out and place them to help hold her bangs back.

Zoe was so into getting dressed that she hadn't spoken to anyone that was in the room with her. "Hey guys." She finally decided she should say. Looking over she saw Sam and Gin. "How are you guys doing?" She was in an abnormally good mood. Hoping to spread it around.

Samantha was just about finished when she heared Zoe say hi, "Oh, hi Zoe, how are you doing this evening?" Samantha looked over at her and saw that she was wearing something different, she wasn't use to seeing her in a dress.

Zoe looked back up, she had been trying to fix her stupid boot zipper. "Hey Sam. Nice dress." With a little uphm, she finally got her foot in and it zipped correctly. "Sorry, stupid boots, love them but they don't like to zip right." Standing, she smooth her dress and jacket, at least she could hide her arm, not wanting a lot of questions tonight about that. She turned back to Sam. "Oh, I'm doing good. Actually really good. And you?"

Brandy walked into the room silently to pull on her boots and look into the mirror to see in her make-up was all good to go. Brandy looked up from the mirror and smiled at Zoe. "Hey, Zo. Nice dress", She greeted kindly and latched the last buckle on her shoes.

Zoe turned at the sound of her name. "Hey Brandy. Thanks. Just wanted something simple. For once." She said the last with a small laugh. Zoe was one that loved to stand out. But for one night she really didn't wnat to.

"That's a bit of a change for you, isn't it", Brandy said jokingly to her Half-sister. Brandy pulled out her wand and ran it threw her hair and it straightened it, also making it have one red streak in the front, near her eyes. Brandy pocketed her wand, she was ready to go to the dance, but she really didn't want to. The thought of dancing in a room full of people bothered her since she was so clumbsy.

This brought a laugh from her. "Oh, yea. Usually I try to stand out. But this time I figured I would try and blend in. I usually get ignored either way. So we will see." Taking another look into the mirror. "Nice, if I do say so myself."
