Lost with you

Maddison emerged from her academic cocoon, relishing in the lovely weather that beckoned her to the Quidditch pitch. Donned in a comfortable pink top, paired with denim jeans and sleek black canvas shoes, she confidently strode towards her broom, propped up against her shoulder. As she ascended, she gradually gained momentum, gracefully meandering across the pitch.

Lost in a flurry of thoughts, she pondered the complexities of her life, contemplating the intricate web of relationships that enveloped her. Memories of Mason, Alex, Kole, Elle, Hayden, and Cia swirled through her mind, as she grappled to make sense of it all.

After the brawl that had taken place in the great hall, Alex had been nursing bruises and soreness, keeping to himself and avoiding any unnecessary interactions. However, on this particular day, he found himself wandering towards the Quidditch Pitch. As he strolled through the grounds, his feet led him up into the stands, where he found a spot to sit and observe.

From his vantage point, he spotted Maddison Kane flying around on her broom, completely unaware of his presence. Alex watched her glide gracefully through the air, admiring her skill and technique.
As he sat and observed, Alex contemplated whether or not he should make his presence known. For now, he decided to stay put and watch from a distance, hoping that Maddison would not notice him just yet.

Cecilia wandered down to the quidditch pitch. It wasn’t often that she ventured outside but today she seemed drawn to the fresh air, and the sunshine. Once she arrived she made her way up into the stands and found a place to sit. Not far away was the Greengrass boy, sat there watching Kane fly though the air. Pulling her feet up in the seat with her crossing them. She opened the book she had carried with her and lay it in her lap. But instead of reading it she watched Alex.
She had been nearby the other day in the Great Hall when the fight had happened. Just far enough away to stay out of the commotion. Maddie had made it clear how she felt about Alex, or so Cecilia though. She sat there quietly for a long time before Maddison landed and disappeared from view. Quickly she looked down at the book in her lap as Alex began to move.

Alex sat in silence as he watched Maddison fly around the stadium swerving this way and that, Rising then diving, sharp turns. The blonde girl was lost in her own world as she trained for the next game for her team. The whole time Professor Lupin's words echoed in his head ‘give her space.’ When he had seen her he wanted to try to apologize again, but as he watched her land and exit the field he couldn’t bring himself to approach her. With a sigh he stood up and headed back the way he had come.
Movement in the corner of his eye drew his attention to another student who had joined him. Attwood. Cecilia. He cocked his head to the side narrowing his eyes at her. Changing his direction, he moved to sit next to Cecilia. “Hello.” he said, “Attwood, right?”
