Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

She becomes more loud, talks a lot more, shrieks when she laughs (much like she did at Hogwarts as a teenager) and tosses her hair over her shoulder A LOT.

If your character was fired from their job what career path would they choose? Or if your character is a student what career path will they choose?

Irene might look for another law-enforcement job, especially one that doesn't involved so many people. Maybe a judge? Assist in writing new laws? Even record keeping.

Worst date your character has been on? (Or worst romantic experience?)

Jack has only been on "almost" dates, but the worst romantic experience was probably when Albus told her his feelings, and Kat-Care made it worst. Most of Jack's romantic experiences thus far have been fairly sad.

The opposite : best date/romantic experience your character has been on?

Oh this one is so awkward for Kat.

She just.. hasn't. The closest she has came to romantic experiences would have been with Eli (and nothing really happened there). But it would probably have to be Paris and going through all the art museums with the gentleman she had a crushing crush on.

Does your character have any tattoos? If they had to get one (or another one), what would it be?

Oddly, no... she doesn't. I feel like she should, but Kat-Car has no tattoos. My head cannon says that Marie continually makes fun of her for that.

Kat-Car would get (may get):
-A dragon, probably a perfect replica of her darling young horntail
-Somewhere discrete, in swirly small black letters "Mia" for the mother she never appreciated enough. (@Emily: if she gets this we need to have a Thalotta scene where Thalia asks her about this "Mia" and Kat-Car doesn't wanna say anything and they fight. Kay? Kay.)

Technically, she has the Dark Mark, if that counts as a tattoo for the purposes of this question. I'm not gonna tell you where it is, other than that it's certainly not on her forearm. (She probably hasn't gotten a tattoo in the past because it would make her too recognizable. Anything she got would need to be in a place easily and often hidden).

If your character had to choose between never casting another Charm, or never Transfiguring (this includes vanishing and all else that falls under Transfig) anything again, which one would they pick?

Transfiguration. Max loves his simple little charms too much to give them up. It's probably the kind of magic he uses the most.

After a brief drinking stint where she dropped off the edge of the world, Jack had a lovely Christmas with family and friends, giving and recieving gifts freely and selflessly. It was sweet.

Most important/favorite gift your character has ever gotten, on the subject of gifts?

A gorgeous ball gown from her mother when she was seventeen and in the final year at Beauxbatons. She hated every inch of it but opening the gift made her realize that she could never belong to the Goyle family and solidified her plans to move to London, making it one of the most important ones.

Best/worst pet your character ever owned?
