Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Quiet morning out? Empty Quiet morning out?

Post by Maria Lanchester Sun Jul 28, 2013 11:18 am

Maria sighed heavily as she thought back to what made her come to Hogsmeade this particular sunny morning. School was to start soon and as usual, she had been in her family's sitting room reading books for pre studying before the new school year at Hogwarts. It's what she did every year so she didn't see what was so wrong with it but apparently her mom had seen something wrong. It had only been about an hour that Maria was studying when her mom came in and ushered her out of the house, telling her to go have fun.

So here she was, eleven o'clock in the morning, listening to birds chirping while walking to the Three Broomsticks. What her mom hadn't seen Maria do before leaving was grabbing her potions book and shoving it into her purse. If she had to go out, she was still going to study at some point. Even though it was sunny out, it was a bit windy and for that Maria was glad she had chosen jeans, sneakers, a light blue t-shirt and a dark blue jumper to keep her warm. She wasn't one to like the cold, but she didn't particularly liked heat either.

Walking inside of the Three Broomsticks, she quickly ordered a butterbeer and took a seat at a table in the far back corner of the place so she would get some peace and quiet while she studied. Maria smiled to herself as she pulled the potions book out of her purse and sat it in front of her. "She really thought I wouldn't continue studying." Laughing quietly to herself, she opened the book up and began reading, sipping on her butterbeer every so often.
