Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Dreaming in Diagon Empty Dreaming in Diagon

Toby was grumpy. He couldn't even bring himself to care how much that made him sound like a spoilt child, it was true. Toby had always slept well in Jack's house. It was nice to have a warm, comfortable bed after his few days of homelessness. It was also comforting to know that he was welcomed. Hell, even on the nights that little Sunny deemed it prudent to wake Toby at three in the morning simply because she had awoken, the teenager still managed to get a good night's sleep. Last night, had been an exception.

It was three days before the full moon, and the werewolf was starting to get restless. He knew that he'd have to tell Jack within the next day or two, and the fear of being kicked out by his own personal angel was more terrifying than the male would ever admit. Furthermore, the approaching moon only deepened his longing for his ex-Pack. It took the realization that they wouldn't be there for him on the moon for reality to properly set in, and Toby had spent the better part of last night curled up in a ball with silent tears rolling down his face. In other words, Toby had gotten very little sleep. And a sleepless Toby, was a grumpy one.

In an attempt to knock himself out of the morbid funk he'd worked himself into, the blond had spent the morning running. The run had helped. While it didn't help him to feel any less tired, it did raise his spirits. The shower had helped too, and if Toby had been a poetic person he would have said that it felt like the water was washing away his worries along with the grime.

Upon stepping out of the shower, the werewolf couldn't help but examine himself in the mirror. He wasn't a self-conscious person, but the boy knew he would stand out in the Wizarding community. His arms and back were absolutely covered in scars. Glancing down at his left arm, the teenager traced over the marks. There was no need for him to look at his legs or chest, fully aware that he'd find scar tissue there as well. Pulling a tee-shirt over his head, the werewolf smiled slightly at the flex of his muscular arms. He worked hard to gain and maintain such strength, one of the few parts of himself he was proud of.

Yelling to Jack that he was going out, Toby smiled through his Floo-ride to Diagon Alley. Not really caring where his feet took him, the boy found himself wandering into a shop he'd never previously entered. It was filled with books, parchment, and writing supplies. Knowing that he had very little interest in anything the shop could be selling, the werewolf turned to leave. He was about to step out of the door when the displeased voice of a female caught his attention. Turning around, Toby spotted a pretty brunette conversing with what appeared to be an ironically thick-headed shop attendant.
