The Best of Mates

Zane had seen Percy and Adrienne recently during their trip to Greece, but of course he already missed his friends. They had owled each other and agreed to meet at Diagon Alley for ice creams at Flortescue's and walk around to window shop. It wasn't like they had too much catching up to do, but Zane would admit to being a bit disappointed when Percy and Adrienne both went back to the same town and Zane was stuck at home with his mental family.

Brianna had gone off with a friend for the day anyways, so Zane asked that they do it when she was busy so he wouldn't be stuck at home with just his parents. So he ambled around the streets for a while before settling himself outside the Ice Cream parlour where they always met. He was a bit early, he realized, so he sat back and watched the people go by.

Percy had waited outside Adrienne's house for her, and then led the way to Diagon Alley without much trouble. They were meeting up with Zane after a week or so without him. The trip to Greece had done nothing if not bonded them even more.

Percy walked along the street, trusting that Adrienne was alongside him. Looking around, Percy observed the Alley. He knew where Zane would be, though. Their usual place.

Walking up to the table outside the Ice Cream Parlour, he plopped himself down next to Zane, grinning. "Hey, mate. Long time no see!" He joked.
