What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. A midnight feast - Page 2 Empty Re: A midnight feast

A swarm of butterflies fluttered from her stomach up to her cheeks making her blush. She often got compliments from guys because of her looks - although they were usually from weedy third years thinking they were hardcore going up to an older student. Hallie licked her top lip gracefully with her tongue. Never had she dreamed the popular quidditch player would be complimenting her, something she rather enjoyed.

'Well I do try.' She replied, jokingly flicking her golden locks over her shoulder and tilting her head to show off her neck. She had a sudden urge to kiss him. Maybe after the conversation with a forty-two year old, untidy man in the Hogs Head seeing someone slightly good looking her own age made her feel rather like a girl with a crush.

Hallie reached across, clamping her fingers around Brian's glass of water. Maintaining eye contact she raising the glass to her mouth and took a sip. 'How refreshing.' She whispered as she placed the glass of cool water on the table.

Brian saw her face visibly flush and he knew he had her right in the palm of his hand. He had grown accustomed to picking up on the visible signs, and his compliment had gone over well, he could see it in her reaction. She reached forward and he did not say a word as she took a sip from his water, he kept eye contact the whole time.

"Hallie Cooper, do my eyes deceive me, or are you trying to seduce me?" He pulled his feet off the table and the legs of the chair came crashing down. He propped his arms onto the edge of the table and he glanced across at her, a sly smirk played across his face. "I kind of like it." He said in a the same tone of voice she had used when she took a drink of his water.

Hallie let a guilty grin escape her cheeks. It was true, she was trying to seduce Brian - not something she would have done a month ago. The past three months she had hardly been herself. Instead of being playful, socialising and sneaking around the castle she'd been anchored to a desk in the common room studying for her NEWT's. The feeling of letting her hair down again was fun, exhilarating, something she shouldn't let her exams stop her from doing.

Hallie leaned closer to Brian. 'Well that depends.' She whispered 'Is it working?' Whatever was coming out of her mouth she hasn't thought through in her head, something which a student from another house would have done, especially seeing as the kitchen was littered with house elves. Hallie didn't care though, most of them weren't paying the two any attention and the majority had started to disappear off around the castle to clean why the students were asleep - or whilst most of them were asleep.

Brian could not help but enjoy the entire ordeal. Most people hated talking to women or complained that it was too hard, Brian was different, he loved the chase that came along with trying to entice a girl to like him. It was all about confidence, and Brian had plenty of it. None the less, no matter how skilled he thought he was, he would always get butterflies in his stomach when the talks started to "progress". Lately, women and quidditch were all he could think about, and while he had no intentions of trying to have a girlfriend per say, he still loved a little fun.

"Well of course it is, how could a right minded fellow not be enticed by someone as good looking as you." He leaned in again and he put his face close to hers. "I bet you want to kiss me right now, don't you?" He hovered around, inches from her face, and acted like he was going to lean in for a kiss before he quickly pulled back, a smile on his face. "Can't be giving away something as valuable as a kiss so quickly now can I?" He laughed and then he stood up, offering his hand to her.

"Come on, a friend of a friend has a stash of firewhiskey that he snuck into the school, what say we have a drink before we do anything else?" Brian had not been much of a drinker when he first came to Hogwarts, but one night after a win some of the players had some, and now he tried to drink every chance he got.

Hallie bit her Tongue and grinned as Brian announced that her seductive technique was working, perhaps this sudden urge had come from the drinks she had drank in The Hogs Head earlier... She wouldn't want to kiss a jerk wether he was a Quidditch player or not usually, then again she was open for some fun.

As Brian leaned in closer to Hallie's she closed her eyelids, her face tilted closer to his, her lips yearning for his to meet them. Can't be giving away something as valuble as a kiss so quickly now can I? She heard himself. Hallie felt his tickling breath disappear from her skin. She opened her eyes. How stupid she felt. Here she was, seventeen and beautiful, begging for a younger guy to kiss her.

Hallie pouted in thought, her Tongue tracing we front teeth. She had just been to the Hogs Head and albeit she'd drank gillywater with almost zero alcohol Hallie wasn't sure if she could manage more. On the otherhand he was feeling playful and reckless - more reckless than usual. The idea that she was clueless to where the night could take her gave Hallie a thrill, she was hungry for an adventure wanted to know how the journey ended.

'Lead the way.' Hallie replied, taking his hand and rising from the stool. His skin was soft and smooth. From his touch alone she knew it was wise not to have kissed a few seconds ago. The wait would make it more worthy.

Brian quickly lead her out of the kitchen, lightly holding her hand, not in any way other than to lead her. Once they were out of the kitchen, he let go, and he started the journey up to his dorms. One of his Quidditch buddies always kept a few bottles of firewhiskey hidden away in his trunk. Seeing as he was a seventh year, and was probably passed out from studying, Brian would have no problem snagging the bottle. It did not take them long to reach the fat lady, and Brian turned to Hallie.

"Wait right here, don't lose all that enthusiasm." He winked and he vanished into the portrait. He was not gone long, he sprinted up the stairs, and he snuck into his friends dorm. He quietly opened his trunk and he slipped out a bottle and tucked it away in his room. Not two minutes later he was back out of the portrait with a huge grin on his face. He brandished the bottle and started to walk. "Ready for a drink, milady?"

Brian knew just the place. There was a room that was never used on the fourth floor and it was where a lot of the parties that older students threw took place. It was located deep in the hallways so people could be rather loud without being caught. Brian had never seen any of the parties get busted. "I never pegged you as the adventurous type." Brian admitted as they reached the stairs going to the fourth floor. "I suppose I was wrong. Who would have thought me being wrong would be such a good thing."

They reached the door and he pulled his wand out and tapped the door. It unlocked and he pressed his way in, opened the door and allowing for Hallie to come in after him. He gave one quick glance around before he shut the door behind them and he made his way over to the corner, which had a bench with a window overlooking the grounds. He plopped himself down and he patted the spot next to him.

"To good times and being young!" He opened the bottle and he took a big swig from it. The whiskey burned his throat, but in a good way, and he let out a satisfied sigh before offering her the bottle. "I didn't notice in the kitchen, but your hair is absolutely lovely." He smiled and put his hand up, touching her hair gently, but not enough to ruffle it up. He knew how girls were about their hair.

Hallie let Brian guide her through the castle. Her heart beating with excitement and her mind thinking wild with curiosity. This was the first time Hallie appreciated how beautiful the castle was at night time. The way the moonlight filtered through the window panes, illuminating the many passageways and staircases.

'Okay.' Hallie replied sweetly when Brian told her to wait on the landing outside of the Gryffindor Common Room whilst he headed inside for the firewhiskey. 'Out again are we?' The Fat Lady observed as Hallie waited obediently, twiddling her fingers. 'Oh be quiet you.' Hallie replied with a wink. The amount of times Hallie had awoken The Fat Lady was enough evidence that she'd formed almost a kind of friendship with the guardian of Gryffindor Tower.

When Brian returned she held out her hand and let him lead her down to the fourth floor and to one of the rooms that was rarely used besides when students hosted parties. 'If I told you all the adventures I've been on you wouldn't believe me.' Hallie whisper in his ear. Although she needn't have whispered, nobody was around to hear them.

Brian unlocked the door and guided Hallie in. The pair headed to a bench in the corner by one of the windows. The setting was beautiful. The moonlight shone onto Hallie's golden locks and caused their eyes to shine as the light reflected from them.

Hallie grinned as Brian ran a hand gently through her hair. This time she didn't blush, she grasped the bottle of fire whiskey from his palms and took a swig herself, letting it burn away her doubts and the conscience in her head telling her to go to bed. She didn't say anything but simply gazed into his eyes, mesmerised at the way the moonlight passed over them.

She did not say anything when he complimented her hair, but he shrugged it off, she was clearly having a good time. She was staring into his eyes and he felt that all too familiar beat of his heart alerting him that he was enjoying what was going on. His blood was pumping and he could not help but stare back, both of them sitting quietly in the room, staring at each other.

He grabbed the bottle and he took another swig, this one larger than the last, he knew it was going to kick in soon. Firewhiskey was a potent thing, and he often acted a fool and did not think when he was drinking, so he knew sooner or later he was going to throw out all the stops. Even though he was sure he could have already gotten her to kiss him, it was not his style, he liked to draw things out as long as possible.

"So you're a seventh year, alone in an abandoned room with a lowly little fifth year, what would all of your friends think?" He smirked and he took another drink before he offered her the bottle again. He was looking to get her to open up a bit, maybe play to his ego, after all he kind of liked that.

Hallie continued to gaze into his eyes, the only thoughts entering her mind now were that she was strangely attracted to Brian and wanted to know him more, enjoy the moment with him. She watched as he took another swig. Already the combination of the gillywater and the sip of firewhiskey was inhibiting her ever so slightly.

'I don't care what they think.' Hallie replied slowly, making every word count. 'You're funny.' She said, leaning closer. 'You have rugid good looks.' She added, edging her body closer. 'You're amazing at Quidditch.' This time she leaned her lips towards his neck, breathing lightly against it. 'And it'll be their loss.' She concluding, lifting her face from his neck. She could almost taste the firewhiskey on his breath as she gazed deeply into his eyes.

When she started to play to his ego, exactly what he wanted, he almost could not contain his excitement. She leaned in close to his neck and he had to fight every urge to allow his carnal instincts to take over. The firewhiskey was already starting to make his head feel woozy, mix that in with a beautiful girl who was trying every way in the world to seduce him, well it was safe to say his head was in the clouds.

Brian let his face hover in front of hers, smiling, and getting as close as he could without actually kissing her. He was trying to get her excited, she had already succeeded in doing that to him, but he also wanted things to be memorable. He was dramatic in everything he did, he wanted to be remembered, and he wanted her to go and tell all of her friends about the way he treated her.

"You know how to feed an ego maniac his ego." He smiled again and he reached his hand over and he sat it on her thigh. He rested it there for a moment before he slowly began to massage it gently. He could not take it anymore, his hormones were quite literally bursting out of him, he had to kiss her. He put the bottle of whiskey down, and with his free hand, he reached up and grabbed her chin and softly pulled her in for a kiss.
