Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

IT was starting to warm up outside and Oliver for one was happy. The fifteen year old was tired of all the cold and happy for the weather he had accepted when he transferred to hogwarts. He was one of the people who ventured outside and down to the lake where he reclined against the base of a big tree his legs stretched out and crossed at the ankle and his arms behind his head. In the back that leaned against the tree next to him contained the last of the spice he had bought from Wally in the study room not long after his arrival, his newly refilled flask, thanks to a visit to hogsmeade he had made, and his dearly beloved camera.
The boy smiled as he looked up at the sky through the bare limbs that were just starting to grow leaves. It would take a while but soon the branches would be full of big green leaves that would float away with the wind every once in awhile.

One of his favorite places was the lake. Though, when the weather began to get better, everyone was always there. It was the only problem Dylan Davies had with the place. But it was his favorite place - aside from the Music Classroom - because he got to enjoy the fresh air and the warmth that Spring was starting to bring. He couldn't wait until summer, just because of the warm weather and being able to go to the beach and other places with his family. He really wouldn't want to leave Hogwarts though, he wouldn't be able to see his friends most of the time and it meant no magic for the entire summer. He wasn't old enough to use it outside the school yet.

It annoyed him, but there was nothing he could do about it. The chilly breeze of winter was still around and it made him shiver, and shrink into his jacket where in the right pocket his toad was being carried around. The creature was barely noticeable as the pattern on his skin was almost the same as the strange markings on his jacket. Dylan looked down at the creature to make sure it was okay, and with a seemingly blank glance back up at him, Javy - that's the name of the toad - jumped out of his pocket and hopped away towards a boy whom Dylan believed he knew, vaguely.

"Hey!"

He called to the boy, trying to get his attention somehow, since he couldn't figure out who the boy was. He glanced down at the hopping figure of his toad and called out again.

"Be careful! There's a toad headed your way, don't step on it or anything!"

He really hoped that the boy wouldn't mistakenly step on his pet. That was the last thing he needed right now.

Oliver glanced over at a boy who was yelling about not stepping on a frog which he saw hopping towards him. Once the frog got close enough he scooped it up in his hand. Sitting up he lifted the frog so it was at eye level and shook his head. "You should keep better track of this thing. It's still way to cold for him to be hopping about outside." He spoke matterafactly and shook hIs head agin before releceing the frog into his owners hands.
