Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Heads full of knowledge Empty Heads full of knowledge

All of the professors had decided on informing their students that they would be having tests the next week, to get them back in the mode of schoolwork. Penny assumed they did this with the thought that all of the student's Easter breaks had been chock full of parties, underage crime, and irresponsibility, obviously leaving no time for them to really mull over their coursework, the way teachers so ridiculously hoped they would. The tests were meant to shock the students back to reality with a little bit of a scare.

Penny, however, had done nothing remotely akin to party, crime, or irresponsibility. Most of the break had consisted of her cramming as much knowledge into the pretty little cranium of her so ill-fitted for beauty, according to her mother. Apparently, Penny had a funny-shaped head, and fat cheeks, so Vivienne Macnair had informed her. It was good that Penny had better uses for her head than the simple purpose of being looked at.

Despite her preparations, Penny found herself packed into the study room with what seemed to be a hundred other students. Nearly ever table was full - there were already four other students at her table, and the table only sat six, leaving one empty chair. From what Penny could see, it was the last empty spot. It seemed the students were not considering the professors' threats empty one, and everyone was furiously cramming, muttering words and incantations to themselves. Penny had a huge history book pulled open and was doing her best to intake as much information as she could about house elf suffrage.

Domi walked into the study room only to find that the room is full with students. This is what happen when all the professors told them that they would be given tests right away after holiday. As if they have the time to study in the middle of playing and all. Domi spent her Easter holiday at home, cooking and trying new recipes. Her part time job at Eli's also never had the problem to keep her busy. Fortunately, she loves to read. That makes Domi read everything available in her free time, including school books.

Although she likes room full of people, this one is too much. Too crowded, even too noisy, all the students somehow read a little to loud and muttering incantations. She doubt she can even concentrate to read her ancient rune's book. But, hey, it wouldn't hurt to try. After all, she could use a few times reading over whatever she thinks necessary for the sake of the test. Geez...

She saw one available chair near the end of the room. She walked there and asked, "Excuse me, is this chair empty?" she desperately needs that chair.

Penny, though frazzled and exhausted from the idea of catching up in her classes and attempting to get ahead, was actually quite content. She liked to have a purpose, and a purpose separate from her parent's purist ideals was a welcome one. Anything to keep her from thinking of arranged marriages, blood traitors, and the growing muggle population was a godsend. The girl simply felt as though she were being torn to pieces when forced to mull over those issues so important to the people in her life, from her friends to her family. Schoolwork was a much better subject.

But, the truth about reality is that it is not kind to those who think they can pretend it does not have a hold on them. For, when Penny heard a voice above her, she would have been gracious to anyone looking for a spot. But, not if it was a blood traitor. And especially if it was not a Weasley. And Penny knew Dominique - she had been trained to spot their 'enemies.'

Penny felt her anxiety immediately buck. She did not want to be rude, she did not want to be mean, and she surely did not want to cause a scene. She glanced about, looking for a place for the Weasley girl. She chewed her lip. "It is - but isn't there any other open spots?"

This girl, looking for another place for her. There will be two reasons to do that, one, she is kind and trying to help her. Or two, she doesn't want her to sit there. She will go with the first one, though. How kind of her. Domi followed her and looked around, again. She gave the girl a sad smile. "I am so sorry... But every table are full already. Even my work place never be this crowded." she said. "So, can I? I promise not to disturb you." she added.

This study room is a mess. Domi would cast a spell or two in order to be able to study there. Fortunately, she already able to use non-verbal magic. She is sure that she would not bother everyone else on that table with her voice.

Domi took a glance on the girl. She looks nice. Domi wonders if she is a SLytherin or not. Not many Slytherin welcome her present. Well, she wasn't the one who hate them, obviously. It's just some of them hate the traitor blood, like her and her family. She sometimes hate herself for that matter, but she lives her family.

This girl was killing Penny and she didn't even seem to know it -or maybe she was pulling one of those 'Fake Nice' routines where she acted all innocent and kind to purposely make Penny seem like the monster. And for Penny - who was the pinnacle of propriety, courtesy, and consideration - it was absolutely painful to be put in so trying and revealing of a situation. Penny longed to have Audrey or one of her more tenacious friends nearby, someone who did not mind how the rest of the school looked at them.

But this was an image problem. Penny could not be seen with a Weasley - it could ruin her. Her parents were already are thin ice, really, and people were already concerned that, at sixteen, Penny did not have any serious potential marital candidates. Most of the pureblood girls her age who still subscribed to classic-orthodox pureblood expectations were already engaged. She was falling behind.

The simple truth of the matter was she could not afford to be seen in public with the daughter of blood traitors.

Penny bit her lip, looking torn. She lowered her voice. "Look, couldn't you find somewhere else to study? You're putting me in an incredibly uncomfortable situation."

Domi sighed. Well... Obviously, this girl didn't want to be seen with her. Domi gave her a smile. "Of course..." she said. "I am sorry that i have troubled you. But, can i just put my book here for a moment? I need to take my parchment and quill. After that i will leave, i promise." she said waiting for her answer.

Oh this is just too much. Why is these pure blood family hate the Weasley so bad. Not all of them, of course. But most of them, yes. She just wanted to be accepted as who she is. Domi hates it when people looked at her and after noticing that she is a Weasley then they just walked away. And the worst of it, she can't even get mad to them. Merlin!! What was her mother mold her into, with those mannerism and attitude of a lady that she learnt from her.

Her mother once told her that she might not be able to marry a pure blood. Well, she did well on the last ball of purebloods. Her father doesn't worry at all, he will agree even if she marry a muggle, as long as she chose to. Fortunately, with her blood status, no one pressing a marriage matter on her. When some of her pureblood friends already had a fiance since they were young, she wasn't worry at all about that matter.
