Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Teddy did not have very many normal friendships- most of her friendships were either business partnerships, alliances, love/hate rivalries, and fake friendships. However, even Teddy had some exceptions to the rule, and one such entity was Jayden Volkov. The boy was older, which was a plus as less people had the nerve to interrupt him, and quiet, allowing her the peace she needed. He did not get involved in her cases unless she asked his opinion, and he usually had something rational to say.

There was a small alcove in the fifth floor and, on their way to the library Teddy had begun to tire of the walk and had pointed out the alcove. The found shelter there, pulling out their things and sitting shoulder to shoulder, backs against the wall. Peacefully, Teddy pulled out her observation journal and read through the latest material.

There were very few people that Jayden was ever even remotely comfortable around, those people were usually only his parents and sister. There was the occasional housemate that he spoke too sometimes, but most of the time he chose to stay away from them, just becausr. There was, however, one other person whom he was able to be arpund without getting all awkward like he usually did. That person was Teddy Crewe.

She was younger than he was, but he honestly preferred that to someone the same age or older than him. Girls his age usually made him uncomfortablr because it was like they spoke anothwr language that he would never be able to understand. Teddy, was one of the most rational girls he'd ever spoken too and he'd taken a liking to the girl since the beginning. Don't get that wrong, he saw her sort of like a younger sister, that was it, nothing more. As they sat there in the alcove, Jayden let Teddy do what she did without interrupting her and he looked down at the book in his hands.

Teddy was really attentive with her work, sorting through her journal of observations as she strung together possible leads and connections on three separate pieces of paper. One read "Dark Followers." Another cited "Potter's Army." And the last simply said "Spice." Spice was her current focus, as she doubted she could stop multiple students, but she could probably crack a single manufacturer of a drug.

Teddy sighed, shuffling the papers with the faction information under the paper that read 'Spice.' She tapped the tip of her ballpoint pen against the paper and let out another sigh. She looked up and ventured, "Jayden?" cautiously stirring her friend from his own silent studies. "Do you know anything about Spice?"

Jayden slowly looked up from the book he was reading as he heard Teddy call his name. "Hm?" he said softly, still mostly focused on what he was reading. His eyes finally left the book and they focused on Teddy as she asked if he knew anything about something called Spice. His eyes darted to the left and then back at her as he scratched the back of his head and he shook his head.

"Not really. Just that it's a drug." he told her. That was probably obvious to her though. That Spice was a drug was probably the most obvious thing anyone could say about it. Jayden really didn't know much else about it except that one of the boys in their house had a bit of it 'stashed' in his trunk. Hay had seen him hide it when the boy thought no one was looking. "And that one of our housemates has it stashed in his trunk." he said lightly, glancing back at the book.

And this was the one problem with Jayden- he was pretty much a reclusive hermit, so he rarely knew any of the goings-on in the castle. Sometimes, his antisocial behavior helped her, as he was capable of observing people without much notice. But in other matters, such as the present one at hand, his lack of social contact really hindered his ability to give her any of the juicy details she needed.

She deflated a little and sighed. He spoke again, though, alerting her of a potential suspect and she perked at the thought. "Yeah? Who is it?" If she could get a name, she could track him down and figure out how to make him squeal.
