Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Even though she wasn't exactly keen on having to start classes and all that already, Dani was happy to be back at Hogwarts. Back in the Slytherin common room to be exact. The past years, since she met Juliet, the two of them had been spending a big amount of time in the common room, and the library, but it was mostly the common room. They'd been keeping their friendship a secret from almost everyone. Everyone who knew that Juliet wasn't a pureblood like they'd been telling everyone to keep her safe from having anyone tell Liberty or Brandon that their daughter was friends with a halfblood.

She hadn't seen Juliet at all during the ride to Hogwarts, and she thought that the gild might've headed straight for the common room and was waiting for her to get there. So as soon as they arrived she headed for the common room and searched for her friend. Strangely, she didn't find her and Dani frowned, wondering where Juliet was. She could be anywhere in the castle right now, but she'd probably be returning to the Slytherin dungeon soon. So Dani decided to wait for her there, and to greet the Slytherins who were her 'friends' or acquaintances. And maybe even those who weren't ... maybe.

Franki tramped down to the dungeon, gathering her robes around her as the air chilled, something she had never been able to really welcome. Most Slytherins preferred the cold, but Franki was never comfortable until she was before the roaring fire in the common room. That was where she was planning on collapsing. NEWT classes were already starting to kick her butt, and she still had trouble focusing. She felt that if she could focus on her classes, she would have no room to think of her own doubts, but that was not going to happen anytime soon- classes were still hell.

She appeared at the passage and recited, "Superiority." She was allowed entrance and she rolled her eyes, before entering the common room. Her legs crossed as she quickly veered towards the fire, offering her palms up to quickly gather some of the warmth the flames offered. She turned her head to glance over her shoulder to see who was around. She spotted Dani Mulciber behind her- the Malfoys and Mulcibers had long been acquainted. "Hi Dani," Franki said kindly. "What are you up to?"

"Where the hell did she even go?" Dani muttered to herself. It wasn't like Juliet to just go off on her own, especially when she was at Hogwarts. She didn't want anyone teasing her about not having a father or that she was a halfblood. Her father was a sensitive topic to Juliet. He was a muggle and all, but he died in a fire when she was very young. Juliet never liked to talk about him with others. It even took the girl a couple of years to open up to Dani about him. Although she didn't blame her, it was hard to talk about a was parent if you loved them a lot.

That was probably why she and Dani became friends. She felt bad for the girl because of the teasing about her father and she wasn't exactly good at defending herself from the comments that were made. But they had to make up the about her blood status in order to stay friends, because her parents would kill her if they knew her best friend was a halfblood. Dani sighed, looking at the fire blankly as she thought. When someone blocked her view of it a little and spoke to her, Dani looked up to find Frankie Malfoy there. She gave the girl a half smile and answered, Hi Frankie. Not much really. Just waiting for someone." she glanced back to the fire then at Frankie again, "What about you? Anything going on?" she asked.

Franki shook her head, reaching for the fire poker and trying to rejuvenate the fire. "Not really. Just settling in. I'll tell you what though- Transfiguration is kicking my ass! Shacklebolt is absolutely relentless. We don't even have exams this year and it feels twice as bad as last year. I swear, if we have another essay to do tomorrow, my arm is going to fall right off!"

She stood and turned on the spot, flopping into the nearest armchair. She blew her bangs out of her eyes and lolled over, resting her chin on the arm of the cushioned chair and staring at Dani with a bored expression. She glanced around, grasping for a topic. "Soo," she said. "Who're you waiting for?"
