Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Family Empty Family

Fred was relieved to have a free period-though he hadn't been at school long, he already had a fair amount of work. But the castle was as amazing as he'd pictured, if not more so, and he was laerning loads, so he didn't mind the workload much. But he was a little homesick-he hadn't been away from his house for such a long period of time before. But he'd agreed to meet his sister out by the lake, and he was looking foreward more than he'd probably be willing to admitt to finally seeing a familiar face again, and getting to hang out with at least one person from his family.
When Fred walked outside, he immediatly turned towards the lake and suqinted his eyes, searching for Roxanne. He didn't see her yet, but he was sure she'd come. So he practically ran over to the beautiful lake that he'd ridden across not to long ago. He smiled at the pretty scenery, with the sunlight reflecting off the water. He then leaned against a tree and waited for his sister to arrive.

Roxi had asked to go to the bathroom at the end of class, before darting out. So that meant when the bell rang, she had already ran up to her room and thrown all of the spoils of war- the sweets from Honeydukes- she had been saving for a good occasion. The professor had not been displeased to see her leave. She was more of a distraction to class than she was a pupil.

When she reached the lake, her brother had not arrived. She circled the tree they were supposed to meet at, but he was nowhere to be seen. With a shrug, she kicked off her shoes and slipped them in her bag, before leaping onto the tree, shimmying up to the first branch. She pulled herself up to the second, the third, her bare toes curling against the soft bark. She settled at the top and laid down, sighing contentedly.

She sort of forgot where she was briefly, and her eyes fluttered closed and she mumbled a song to herself. She had rested her pack in her stomach, and now she reached into it, searching around for the candy. When she found none, she tried sitting up to better look in her bag, a little furrowed expression taking over her features. As she sat up though, her balance was thrown askew and-

"EEEP!"

She bellyflopped onto the marshy ground beneath, landing right next to a pair of feet. She looked up and smiled. "Oh! Hi, brother!" She pushed herself up, wiping her hands and looking down at her robes. "Aw, grass stains." She shrugged her robes off and kicked them aside, before pulling her brother into a headlock. "How you doing, buddy?!"

Fred jumped in surprise as someone landed in front of him. However, he grinned when he saw that it was his sister. "You okay?" He checked with a laugh-leave it to Roxanne to make the grand entrance. Speaking of which...He looked around in confusion, trying to figure out were Roxanne had come from. Unable to figure that out, he asked it aloud, "Where'd you come from?"
He then shrugged and answered her question honestly with a smile, "I'm fine. I mean, I miss home, but it's fun here." He was quite enjoying the classes, and even just exploring the large, mysterious building in general.

She released Fred, pushing him away from her a little so she could get a good look at him. She hadn't seen much of the little guy. She had been a little distracted with boys and homework and boys and Spice and boys and partying and boys and fashion and boys and boys and boys. As it was, she hardly had time for boys it seemed. She was not surprised she had not seen Fred around too much.

He had gotten taller, she thought. And his hair seemed redder and she was pretty sure there were more freckles than there had been before. Wow. She would have to keep better tabs on him or she would be bringing home a total stranger to Mum and Dad. Mum was sure to burst into tears at the sight of her bog, grown up little man. Luckily, her dad was a little more sane. He'd probably congratulate Fred on his first year with a canary cream.

"Yeah, I'm fine, barely noticed it," she said. Roxi was pretty immune to pain with all of the tumbles she took. He seemed confused about her origins. She smirked and blurted, "Your mother! Get it!" She cackled before pointing up and saying, "I forgot I was in a tree. I sort of fell out." She shrugged, as if this was a common occurence. "Ah don't worry. You'll go home and miss Hogwarts. Have you made friends? No one has picked on you right?" She flexed her arm jokingly.
