Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Trying to relax Empty Trying to relax

Yumi felt as though the school was dead. There was basically no one outside anymore, they were probably still grieving over the death of one of their classmates. But it didn't really have anything to do with her, so she decided to try and ignore it all, and just move on with her life. More students thought it was strange for someone to move on so quickly from what had happened, but Yumi only moved on so quickly because she hadn't been there during everything. She had been inside the entire time, unable to get out of the school because of the crowds of students that where running in and out to and from the grounds.

She hadn't seen anything. Nothing.

She had only heard of what had happened, and it didn't really make her feel bad. She was sort of scared like everyone else, but unlike them she was able to hide it and get on with her life. What was the point of crying over someone's death if you can't do anything about it? That was how Yumi thought. If she isn't able to do anything, not like she wants to do anything about it, then why should she cry?

So now she was walking out to the lake in a white top and blue shorts, with her bag over her shoulder. She wasn't going to do anything with her bag, but she just didn't want to leave it in the dormitories. She walked towards a blooming cherry blossom tree and she sat under it. At least nature was still lively, and tried to bring some happiness into all the gloom Hogwarts was going through.

Trying to relax Empty Re: Trying to relax

Post by Mira Anderson Mon May 30, 2011 7:16 pm

Mira hadn't been around to see the killing of the Hufflepuff girl. Mira had been taking a midnight bath, trying to cleanse her mind from the events of the last few days. At one point she had freaked herself out again, and had tried to scrub the giant black tattoo out of her back with just soapy hands. But it still remained. What would people think when they saw it? So far she had no idea, she hadn't worn anything but her uniform robes, to make sure no one could see the scrawling black lines on her back.

Mira had never been paranoid -but she sure was now.

After the bath Mira had been a lot calmer, going out into the corridors clean and ready for some serious sleep. By then she had discovered the castle in an uproar, but the situation already being taken care of. At least she didn't have to deal with it. Mira didn't feel particularity sad about the girls death. She hadn't known her or anything. But she did find it disturbing that a fellow student had been killed. Clearly the Death Eaters were trying to send a message and it had worked. Being a theatrical and dramatic person herself she gave the murdered marks for being flashy about it. She had heard about the eye - nice touch. It was gross and disturbing of course but if Mira had been trying to get kids running and screaming she would have done it in a similar fashion.

Some people thought Mira was evil just because she was a Slythie. This wasn't true. Mira was just ambitious and cynical. That didn't exactly qualify her to be a Death Eater, but clearly some thought so. Yes, Mira had a bit of a temper but that didn't mean she meant for first years to cry after she had screamed at them. Some people were too sensitive. At least Elijah hadn't found out yet.

Mira had always liked that particular cherry tree in bloom. It was pretty and harmless and shady from the hot sun. Unfortunately there was already someone sitting there. Yumi. The girls shared a dorm and got along reasonably well. However Yumi hung out with her Jr Death Eater league of lame where Mira preferred solitude or non evil company. But maybe it was time to join something. Mira had heard that the wannabe DEs were actually doing something. Not that she stood for the principles that they did or anything.

But anything could happen.

"Hey Yumi" Mira said with a forced smile as she sat down next to the girl. "How are you?"

Trying to relax Empty Re: Trying to relax

Post by Freyja Podmore Mon May 30, 2011 11:15 pm

It was the most beautiful day Yumi had ever experienced. Actually it was the only beautiful day Yumi had ever experienced. She wasn't think ing about her 'father' on this day, which is what made it such a wonderful day for her. Her mind was clear of any bad thoughts, even her thoughts of what happened with Kendall a while ago. Those thoughts had been haunting her ever since that night she was with him. But now the day was making them go away.

She wasn't even thinking about the Dark Followers. She hadn't heard much from them in a while, she just knew they were supposed to do some hostage thing, and she already had her hostage but what else was supposed to happen? She figured Julia would tell them what they were supposed to do when they had to do it. So for now she just had to wait for whatever it was they were going to do after.

She had just started to actually relax under the Cherry blosson tree, when she heard someone talk to her. Her dorm mate, Mira. She got along pretty well with Mira, but she was basically the only one Yumi got along with. She didn't really like many other people, even those in her own house. She looked over at Mira and forced a small smile onto her face.

"Hey Mira" she smiled as she looked down toward the lake. "I'm doing pretty well. What about you?"
