Minister of Magic
The minister is the political official that is the leader of the British wizarding goverment, and as such, he oversees all other ministry departments.

The Deputy Minister is in charge if the current Minister is ill or simply unavailable. The Deputy Minister is also referred to as the advice giver for the Minister. They are the most trusted member in the Wizarding World; by the Minister himsel and the public.

The Wizengamot
The Wizengamot is the Supreme court for the British wizarding world, and as such, it holds trials for wizards who have disobeyed the law. if you are in the wizengamot, you must be present at the trials to determine a defendant's guilt or innocence, and decide sentencing.

Department of Law Enforcement
Warden of Azkaban (OPEN)
Head of Law Enforcement (OPEN)

The Law Enforcement Department is responsible for the safety of the wizarding world. The two primary departments housed here is Law Enforcement (Aurors) and the Wizarding verion of a department of corrections--which in this case, is the administration of Azkaban prison. The warden of the prison falls within this department.

The aurors are law enforcement officers, assigned to the safety of wizarding Britain, to maintain wizarding law and order and to arrest all versions of wizarding law breakers, which could include Death Eaters, the search for mysterious activity, and insuring that wizarding law is enforced. To become an auror one must successfully complete auror training, which is quite demanding and vigorous and include various spells and abilities that other wizards are not trained in.

Do we still have a Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures? If so, Jack wants to work with them as a Magizoologist and a Wizard-Werewolf Relations Officer.

No, we don't have that position, but there are several characters that do specialize in those areas that Jack might do well in working with and it might provide some very interesting plotting for both characters involved.

How did your character come to get that position?: Elizabeth applied for this position because she wanted to be in the law department and wanted to fight for what is right in all trials as well. She may have the Potter name and she understands how much the wizard world need to be safe and keep the muggle world from knowing this magical world.

How did your character come to get that position?: Michael is applying because he would really love to help out with the cases that the ministry holds and will not give sympathy to wizards who have done something illegal.

How did your character come to get that position?: Wanted to work someplace close to mummy, mostly. It was available and she really needed to start earning her own money for the rent w/ Renny. It was just this or passing out pamphlets on broom safety in Diagon Ally.

Position: Member of the Wizengamot
How did your character come to get that position?: Sophia always wanted to work in the law enforcement but there wasn't no positions leaving her to become an healer which she has no problem for she wanted to become healer as well. Sophia been through alot of trouble in her days, not only does she want to get revenge on those who hurted her friends and family she wants to set the wizarding world right again.. Sophia maybe a Lesrange but she want to do everything in her power to keep the wizarding world in good hands.
