Name: Mr. Calvin Secundus Ransom
Training/Qualifications: During the time that Calvin spent taking notes for Gabrielle Delacour, Calvin wrote down everything that he witnessed. Though he never went through the training himself, Calvin unintentionally remembered every aspect of these events, thus becoming a walking encyclopedia of everything that had to do with becoming an Auror.
In his earlier years as a graduate from Hogwarts, Calvin went through the long training process that one had to withstand in order to become a healer, and eventually graduated as he had intended to. After half a year of working alongside experienced healers, Calvin ended up turning his back on St. Mungos. With him he carried all of the knowledge that he obtained during those years at the famous wizard hospital, and even mastered the ability of healing without the use of a wand or spells, though the skill was still rather unreliable when he attempted to put it to use.
Position: Though Calvin had initially applied for a position in the Muggle Department of the Ministry of Magic, while on the job he often found himself in sticky situations- situations that an Auror would find himself in during his time at the Ministry. These dangerous circumstances frightened Calvin out of his wits, but in most cases he made it out with only minor injuries and with dried tears crusted on his cheeks. In a way, Calvin was a part-time Auror, or, at least, when his main job as a defender of Muggles across the globe, led him into the line of fire.
Why you want to join: Putting Calvin in tough situations allows me to mold him as a character a bit more; if he is in a situation that requires him to... say… lie, or be killed, will he lie to the best of his ability, or will he end up digging his own grave?
