Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Changing of the Guards Empty Changing of the Guards

Post by Thaorson Kam Elldir Wed Feb 02, 2011 1:39 am

Thaor apparated to just outside the Gate of the Manor, with a flick of his wand, the gates disappeared. Thaor began to walk at such a brisk pace, his hair was waving behind him. The look on Thaor's face was rather unreadable. He wasn't angry, but wasn't happy. Thaor came up to the wide doors of the Manor, he marched right in, this was very unusual for him, he had a lot of respect for the Malfoy family, but he was on a mission, his mission.

Thaor walked straight to the meeting room, and took a seat at the end of the long table. He lifted his left sleeve, revealing the hideous flower, and pressed his wand to it, sending a message to all of the Death Eaters that they were to come to Malfoy Manor immediately.

While Thaor was waiting for the Death Eaters, he pressed his wand to the flower once more, Restituo Vestigium he muttered, changing every death eater's flower back to it's original state, the dark mark.

Hafiz were sightseeing somewhere in Turkey. Amazed by the beauty of Haghia Sophia, he cannot finish his dinner. Suddenly he felt a tingling sensation under his arm skin. he lifted his sleeve slowly and saw the Dark Mark were waving. He pay his dinner and ran of to the street. As he saw an alley, he rushed to that alley and apparated.

There he is, infront of the manor's gate. He marched into that Manor and see Elldir is already there. He bow a little and move to the side of the room. Waiting for the other members to come.

Changing of the Guards Empty Re: Changing of the Guards

Post by Zara Ellis Wed Feb 02, 2011 2:40 am

Zara was pissed off, she had just had to deal with a day of students, morons who thought they were cooler then they actually were. Idiots who didn't know what they were doing. Kids who didn't deserve to shine her shoes, and now all of a sudden her arm was burning. Lifting up her sleeve she was surprised to see that it had changed, from the stupid flower that it had been turned into, to the real Dark Mark it was supposed to be. Feeling herself grin, she stood up and went to her fireplace. Throwing in some floo powder, she flooed to the Three Broomsticks, where she left in a hurry and apparated to the Malfoy Manor.

It was quiet and dark, and she could tell she was early, but she didn't care. At least she was out of that stupid school, and didn't have to grade the idiots papers. Lifting her wand, she waved it and marched through the wrought iron gate, heading to the front door, she walked in and saw Elldir. "Ah.. so it's you who called the meeting." She said lightly before going to her chair and sitting down with little flourish. New head again? At least he knew that the Death Eaters weren't tree huggers, and deserved to have an actual Dark Mark on their body, not a pretty little flower that looked like a child had drawn it. She sat in her chair and ran her finger lightly over the surface, grinning lightly as she watched the mark waver and move under her skin as it burned dark black and burned against her skin so that she could still feel it's power, calling her towards the Death Eater meeting.

Changing of the Guards Empty Re: Changing of the Guards

Post by Sawyer Weasley Wed Feb 02, 2011 2:55 am

Marla was honing in on a victim at a popular club in London, her makeup darker than usual to match the sleaziness of the place, though she had on a nice sweater dress to better pick up her prey of gullible young men thinking one night of "innocent" fun might not ruin their lives...The darkness of her dress to her dark stockings and boots as well as her dark makeup would only be ironic once the job was done.

She had just pushed her lips out at a man who was already beginning to drool when her arm burned. She casually slid her fingers to the spot and turned on her heel, giving the man a mysterious look that he would follow up on if they ever crossed paths again, and hurried from the club, collecting her long black leather coat and pulling it on. Once out of sight, she produced a black cloak that she donned, lifting the hood and apparating to the Manor.

She slipped inside and then made her way through the maze like house. Marla liked power, but these open spaces bothered her. She preferred her cramped studio apartment or a crowded club. More to focus on, really. She spotted two others, Elldir and some Diggory fellow. She pulled her hod down and shook out her dark mane, giving them a mysterious look, eyebrows raised, and lips pursed, the hint of a flirtatious gleam in her eye. She never could stop the act. Then she noticed the other woman and she nodded her head to her, acknowledging her. She blinked heavily and shook up her sleeves, placing her wand in her left hand as she awaited instruction.

Changing of the Guards Empty Re: Changing of the Guards

Post by Naomi Barker-Greyback Wed Feb 02, 2011 3:33 am

Naomi was still adjusting to life where she wasn't on the run, but she was not sure she liked it. Her half brother was good to her, but he wasn't Felix. She had been watching the news for any news on him and her heart broke and ached every time she saw his name, deepening her desire for him, and strengthening her hate in the Ministry and the Order. They would pay for ripping him away from her.

He had ensured her involvement with the Death Eaters before his capture. They were not sure if they could trust them, but it was an option. She had ignored the call when Caelani had been in charge because she did not doubt the woman would have turned her in or turned her into a slave. But she had met Thaor before. She did not think he would turn her in.

She had been wandering the grounds around Ari's home, wistfully listening to the yipping of nearby coyotes. She found it ironic that Ariel felt cursed to have their father's legacy, and she felt cursed to have been overlooked. She felt her heart tug every time a werewolf called, she had to strap herself down from chasing their call. Ariel did not want to be Fenrir's heir. She did.

Her eyes closed as she moved farther into the forest and suddenly, she felt the burn on her forearm. She quickly grasped it, gasping, and turned on the spot, apparating in surprise. She forced her mind to focus on Malfoy Manor and soon was crashing into the gates. It had happened so fast. She blinked a few seconds, stumbling a few steps until she realized she needed to continue inside.

She felt like she was marching to the headmaster's office or something. Her heart thudded and sh gripped her wand. She knew she was possibly the youngest Death Eater. She was supposed to be a student, but was currently wanted, so that was out of the question. She was more along the lines of a drop out, and she was a Death Eater... She was a little fish in a pond of sharks.

She slipped into the room where everyone was congregated and she pulled the long, wool coat around her, glancing down at her outfit before brushing her hair back and blinking a few times. She kept her head high and her gaze neutral and unaffected because she knew she would not survive unless she could prove herself. She walked into the room and stood near Elldir, not sure whether or not she should associate herself with any of them.

Changing of the Guards Empty Re: Changing of the Guards

Post by Remy Devaul Wed Feb 02, 2011 10:08 pm

It was a slow night at the Leaky Cauldron, with only a few people in the bar. Only a few single people, anyway. There were a few middle-aged couples out to get dinner and a few drinks after a long day at work, and some rowdy teenagers from Hogwarts that always came in hordes. As a direct result of these slim pickings, Remy had been sitting alone at the bar nursing the same drink she had gotten almost an hour earlier. Each time the door opened, she would casually look over her shoulder to see if any better prospects would step through the door, but so far no luck.

Having grown bored with tonight’s dismal opportunities, Remy stood up from her stool and drained the whiskey from her glass, and as she went to put the tumbler back on the bar she felt a searing sensation on her forearm, which could only mean one thing. She was wearing a long sleeved shirt, concealing her secret from those around her, and she didn’t want to check with so many potential witnesses, so instead, she grabbed her coat and slipped out the door, inching her sleeve up once she was outside to confirm that it was indeed the dark mark – back in its original form – which was glowing on her skin.

It was a brisk walk to Malfoy Manor, but she didn’t have another alternative method of transportation, so when the dark-haired woman arrived at the mansion her cheeks were flushed with cold and her hair windswept. Only a few other members had arrived earlier than she had, which was surprising considering they all, presumably, had apparition at their disposal. The one standing near the fringes of the room – Diggory – was at least passably interesting to Remy, both for his physique and his surname, which may or may not have fared him well. The women already in the room registered a much smaller response on Remy’s radar. One, a professor at Hogwarts, had some clout within the Death Eaters for her ability to influence the coming generation or whatever nonsense the Death Eaters were spewing these days. Another, a dark-haired temptress that reminded Remy a bit of herself, but in a much less polished form. This woman wasn't fooling anyone, and she didn't know how to fake a multitude of emotions. She came across perpetually as a flirt, which would win many men, Remy knew, but there were more needs a woman had than those that were physical. The final young woman Remy knew relatively little about; in fact, she had never seen her before. Whoever this girl was, and whatever the story behind the other two, from Remy’s perspective, they were all merely hindrances. These women were all good-looking in their own ways, and Remy didn’t like the desirable men in the room to have to be making a decision.

The man sitting at the end of the table, however, was someone of interest. Surname Elldir, though those close to him called him Thoar, he was a middle-aged man with significant power and influence. He had holds in Hogwarts, sat on the Wizengamot, and from what Remy had heard, his bank account assets were as numerous as his personal achievements. And now, among these others titles, he seemed to have taken on the role of the leader of the Death Eaters, which, in contrast with the last leader being a woman, was preferable to Miss Devaul.

Moving from her place in the doorway, Remy nodded respectfully toward Thoar and took up a place along the wall. Remy’s position within the Death Eaters had never been high enough to warrant her a place at the table, nor did she want one; if she were seated among the more elite, she would be more heavily scrutinized. It was much easier to deceive the other members of the Dark Lord’s army when she wasn’t overly close to them, and so Remy remained in the more shadowed outskirts of the room, waiting for the meeting to begin.

Changing of the Guards Empty Re: Changing of the Guards

Post by Draco Malfoy Sat Feb 05, 2011 8:47 pm

Draco was sitting upstairs in his room when his mark suddenly burned. He was not surprised, he had known of the meeting, but had refrained from arriving early as he didn't want to be alone in the room with the new head death eater. It was their third head in the past year. Caelani had disapeared, and Sandra had stepped down. Thoarson would probably not last much longer than them. Since voldemort had died, the Death Eaters had become a small group with most of its members each trying to get the head position. Deep down, Draco wanted them to disappear entirely, or at least stop using their house as a base. But Draco knew that neither of those things would never happen. He agreed with their ideology, but he didn't think that living with such people was a suitable environment for Scorp and Sue.

He waited until there was sure to be several other people before going downstairs and entering the meeting room. As he had guessed, a couple people had arrived already. The leader of course, Diggory, two women he didn't know, a girl who seemed to be only around Scorpius' age, and Remy. His eyes stayed on her for the longest. She wasn't wearing the tight dresses he liked on her, but was looking desirable nonetheless. The other two women also caught his eye, but he didn't pay them nearly as much attention. Walking over to the leader, he gave him a nod before sitting at his place directly left of him.

Once Raynus had heard the disappearance of Caelini Bittel, he was rather shocked.Wow caelini was an amazing leader I wonder what happened to her. Raynus now wondered who was the new leader. He didn't know any death eaters at all, he was a lone wolf. He walked into the manor, the door creeked and he saw a bunch of death eaters around. None stared at him, as he was of no importance. Raynus came in and sat down in a chair close to the group. This wasn't truly a time to mingle with others. Raynus wanted to know the future of their community. It will have change, for the better ? or worse ?. Raynus didn't know but he was gladly going to find out.He slouched in his chair.

Everybody seems to notice Hafiz as they entered the room. He just act nice and smiled to them. It is the rarest occasion because not all of the Death Eaters can give a smile easily. He gulp and stared those women as they passed him one by one. Somehow he do feel tense because he is a Diggory and everybody knows that Diggory's family was once killed by Voldermort. Hafiz do know some of them did not know why he entered the Death Eater. Let it remain secret although some of the old members know.

Changing of the Guards Empty Re: Changing of the Guards

Post by Remy Devaul Tue Feb 08, 2011 4:42 am

Remy was growing restless as she leaned against a marble pillar on one side of the fireplace, absentmindedly inspecting the mantle for a wallet a few coins that might have been placed there in a hurry and left by accident. There were none. The room was quiet save for a few rustles as individual death eaters shifted in their chairs, watching each other as though waiting for someone to break the silence. Every once in a while, eyes would dart over to their new leader, who was sitting calmly, apparently having no intention to starting this meeting until more of the faithful black souls arrived.

Speaking of black souls… Remy thought as the sound of footsteps brought her attention from the fireplace to the doorway, seeing Raynus standing there in his full black apparel. The man was a spectacle, and not in a good way. The white face paint, the dramatic black lips, the long hair and perpetually black clothing… Remy couldn’t help but take him as a joke. His look was either intentionally androgynous or a really big mistake, but either way, it didn’t make him at all appealing to the slender woman near the hearth, and Remy’s eyes quickly wandered away to the man who had entered with Raynus.

His entrance should not have gone unnoticed by Remy, who had a keen eye for these types of things, but Raynus was such an intentional attention mongerer that Remy had accidentally slipped for a moment. But she had corrected it now. Draco Malfoy, in all his aged glory, had decided to descend from his high tower and grace them with his presence. His long hair had silvered, just as his father’s had, but he still carried himself with the posture of someone who had never known a hard day’s labor. Despite his fall from grace within the Death Eaters, the number of zeros at the end of Draco’s bank account had not fallen at all in the years that had passed since his prime, and although Remy would have preferred both money and power, she was certainly not above settling only for the former.

Remy let her eyes be heavily lidded as she met Draco’s gaze, which rested longingly on her – and not only on her eyes. The two of them had met over a year ago now, and they had an arrangement worked out. Draco was unhappy with his current situation – he and his wife had become distant for whatever reason (the reason wasn’t all that important anyway) and Remy was all too happy to step in and fulfill the needs that for Draco might otherwise go unfilled. She didn’t do this for free, obviously, and Draco paid her handsomely, both for her attention in the bedroom and for her discretion. Although Draco and Remy met at least once a month – usually more – the “other woman” was unbeknownst to anyone in Draco’s life. It had been almost a month since Draco’s last call, though, which was likely why his eyes held a particular hunger as they raked across her before he moved and took his place at the table, keeping up the façade that allowed the two of them to both get what they wanted without anyone knowing about it.

I’ll have to be sure to find reason to speak with the good Mr. Malfoy after the meeting… Remy thought, already planning out their next visit to the room above the Leaky Cauldron that Draco had permanently rented, and she had so often frequented in the last year.
