We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Lesson 6 - Basic Level Empty Lesson 6 - Basic Level

Post by James William Wilson Sat Dec 11, 2010 11:04 am

Wilson entered his classroom. It was empty, for now, but soon... his students will arrive, thinking they can do what they want, as it is with the majority of them. He had finally begun with teaching some relevant subjects, meaning he had finished with those boring and stressing introductory classes. He waved his hand, and text appeared on the board, with the usual not to copy it down. As soon as they were all present, he would start with the class.

Also, since he had forgotten that last time, he put a note on the board stating:

"It my last practice for the oral exam ",Sora said talking to himself . He woke up extra early to get there in time. He starts walking faster just to get there. When he looks inside the classroom it was just Xem and the teacher in there. He walks in and sits next to Xem, like alway what he did for the pass few month . Sora thinks for all the spells he learns and the vocab in the classes to get ready for the practice.

Frederick walked in, mentally berating himself for missing the previous lesson, and sat down in the front, naturally gravitating to the right.

Hitame walked into the classroom noticing she was the fourth one to get there. Aww man, i guess they beat me here. Oh well. She hadn't noticed that the board said there was going to be an oral exam. She walked by Xem and Sora and took a seat by herself in the back. Then she finally noticed the oral exam note. Oh no an oral exam...!! I stink at oral exams!!!

What am i going to do?!?! I have to try and focus really hard and study hard to!! I'm not going to fail this! Hitame knew she had to study a lot so she got her books out immediately and waited for class to start.

Lesson 6 - Basic Level Empty Re: Lesson 6 - Basic Level

Post by Alice Rousseau Mon Jan 17, 2011 6:38 pm

The crowds migrating through the halls to their respective classes were held up by several people. A few students had taken their personal problems into their own hands and were having a duel in the middle of the corridor. A small crowd had gathered around them but what was really holding them up was the girl knelt down tying the shoelaces of her cherry red knee-high boots. She rose up slightly and pulled her custard colour socks back up to their original height before they’d fallen down. She pulled down her skirt which had hiked up to her hips and looked about herself, her cheeks flushing pink. She pushed back the lots of hair that had escaped from her hair-band and continued down the corridor towards the Defence against the Dark Arts room.

Philippa was the name of the Hufflepuff girl wearing cherry red boots and custard coloured socks. As she strode down the corridor she felt a sense of anticipation rise up within her and an involuntary smile spread across her face. Philippa adored Defence against the Dark Arts and the Professor made it oh so better. Professor Wilson was, in Philippa’s opinion, gorgeous. Pippa doubted though, that many people agreed. In fact, some probably disagreed profusely. Philippa didn’t care much for the opinion of others, not anymore. She was a Hufflepuff, a Muggleborn and an eccentric. If people had a problem with that then that was fine. They didn’t have to talk to her if they didn’t want to. Philippa liked her seclusion.

Reaching into her bag, Philippa took her camera from it. She held it up into the air and snapped a picture of the animated paper aeroplanes. Grinning, Philippa brought the camera down to look at the screen and nudged open the door with her hip. She looked up from the camera and jumped when the door slammed shut behind her. Philippa glared at the door over her shoulder before turning her attention to the classroom. Her eyes fell first on the students gathered. Gryffindors by the looks of them, oh and one Ravenclaw.

Philippa pursed her lips and took her eyes off of the Ravenclaw’s dark head. Her eyes swept over the class and fell on the Professor at the front. Philippa smiled sweetly and greeted the man, “Hello Professor Wilson,” she said, her voice taking a silky, sultry edge, “How are you today?” Philippa walked down the middle aisle and took her bag off of her shoulder. Her clunky boots made loud thumps against the wooden floorboards but she paid it no mind and dropped the bag underneath the table before pulling her chair out and taking her seat. She put the camera down on the table after pushing the zoom in and took her wand from her pocket. Philippa tucked her wand behind her ear and dropped her hands into her lap. “Did you have a good weekend?” she chirped happily.

Lesson 6 - Basic Level Empty Re: Lesson 6 - Basic Level

Post by James William Wilson Fri Jan 21, 2011 11:15 am

''Are we related?'', Wilson asked, wondering. Why did people greet him so politely? Every time that happened he feared it was a relative of his. He did not care whether he failed to recognize that fact, he just did not want people around him. ''I'm.... fine.... thank you?'', he said, standing up. He had to get this lesson started. ''Now, now... younglings... your lesson today will be theoretical and I want to start it with a question. What creatures do we consider to be Dark Creatures?'', he asked.

At first Xemnas noticed that proffesor wilson was a little startled by all the greetings that were given to him.Hmm I guess I shouldn't greet him anymore Xemnas thought and smiled. He waited for other people to give the answer, but eventually he got too anxious and he just had to say an answer.Xemnas rose his hand "I think two dark creatures are a basilisk and an animagus"He responded.Xemnas wasn't quite sure about the animagus but he was sure that a basilisk was a dark creature.

Lesson 6 - Basic Level Empty Re: Lesson 6 - Basic Level

Post by Alice Rousseau Fri Jan 21, 2011 10:09 pm

The Professor’s question startled Philippa slightly and she blinked up at him curiously. Related they were not; she knew that much. Pippa decided to remain quiet. She shook her head at the Professor. Then, after he stumbled over his next few words, Pippa reached won to remove her book from her bag. Her fingers slipped over the clasp but she got it without problem and righted herself just as a Gryffindor student answered the question the Professor had asked. Pippa’s eyebrows came together in confusion and disbelief. Basilisk was right. Animagus, however, was not.

Deciding it best to answer, Pippa threw her arm up into the air, hitting the back of it against the table as she did so. A small squeak of surprise left her mouth and she brought her hand back down to inspect the damage done. Her pale skin had taken on a red hue but her hand wasn’t about to drop off. Pippa patted the desk apologetically before once again raising her hand to answer the question. “Werewolves and Vampires are in the Dark Creature category are they not?” Pippa spoke up. “As are Dementors, I believe.”

Lesson 6 - Basic Level Empty Re: Lesson 6 - Basic Level

Post by Aurora Nye Fri Jan 21, 2011 11:44 pm

Aurora, The one who was brave enough to go back to school after all that had happened, The one who some professors knew as a "seer", The girl that seemed as though could take anything, And yet, she was still going to class. But it was her favorite teacher who taught the class. That wasnt the reason she went though. she went because of the fact that she had to take some classes.

That day though, Aurora was going to be more late than ever. With her slight limp that might end up being permant and her brand new pack being heavy, it took her longer than it usually took to get to class. Every time she was usually late. "Im..im sorry professor.. About being late." She studdered as she entered the room. There were kids she knew and others she didnt. Being a second year was hard when you barely knew a soul. "And I want to know.. How many detentions do I still have? Or are they over?" She wasnt keeping track any more. She remembered getting detention yet she didnt remember how many she had went through.
