Scoping It Out

Zhanna nodded slowly, gaging the woman's response to Zhanna's own recognition and understanding of her surname. She seemed nonchalant, even casual. People must have noticed quite often for the girl to realize that Zhanna's slight change in demeanor had been related to her roots and to her family name. "Yes, I have heard of him."

Zhanna nodded, listening to the woman's words, only "warming" up to her because Zhanna realized the importance of important people and noteworthy names. "Yes, it is a very richly-cultured country. Ve are very proud of our history and our land." She asked if their ministry functioned better. Zhanna could not stop herself; no one would have ever been so disrespectful of the government back home. It did its job. "Most definitely, I am thinking. Ve are never having so many problems."

Mariana wasn't surprised about this response. Everybody that didn't live in the cave in that time heard about her uncle and especially how Lord Voldemort killed him. "Yeah even though my uncle was years gone when i was born alot of people say i am his successor because i am a Diggory in every meaning of that word. What about your family? Are they very well known in your home country?" she replied feeling rather proud for the first time in this conversation. One thing she was proud of is that she is a Diggory.

"You already noticed we have problems huh? Well it's not difficult to conclude anyway.." she commented and though ministry was doing its best even with 3 or 4 capable people, it still had a big need of alot more people. "What's your champion's name? Maybe i'll give it a little stop by at one of the tasks." she asked curiously as it was obvious Zhanna liked to talk about only things that were convinient.
