Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Brienne sighed and picked the sheet up from the common room. The sign up sheet for Ravenclaw Quidditch was woeful; there were just enough people to make up the team, but no subs in case someone on the team was sick. Ravenclaw Quidditch was doomed from the start now. Even the Captain wasn't here. Brienne was the Sub Captain, and she was responsible for the team now. She took matter into her own hands, when she usually didn't. She usually was just one to show up and do her best. This time, though, she ran the risk of being yelled at by her superior. That was something that she was totally unprepared for. She hoped that the other girl would be proud instead, proud that someone from her team would do this before she'd get to it which seemed like forever. It seemed like she'd be taking her sweet time to do anything around here.

She looked around the pitch, wondering if anyone would show up. After all, it did seem as if the team was a bit light, a bit light for anything really. Even for people to show up. She'd been expecting nobody for a while now. It wouldn't surprise her if no one showed. She did, however, send a notice to all the people that signed up. Hopefully, they'd show, or she'd have to call it quits on forming the team. Certainly there was no one else doing a damn thing, why should she wait for Prophet if the sign-up deadline had approached and passed? She had no reason to. At least there was a full list of people for first-line positions. She counted her blessings there.

(Someone had to start this, and clearly no one else is going to sign up)

Cecilia came down to the Quidditch pitch carrieing her broom. "Hello Brienne," she said. ce had ran into the girl specking to her for the first time in the library. at first she wasn't going to try out at all but why not. it wasn't like she really had anything eals to do and she could give up reading for a while insteed of something she had been doing since she was two or three years old. Cecilia was also sure that if she didn't try out that would casue a fight between her father and her self.

Simon stumbled blearily down to the pitch, his broom shouldered, his mouth wide as he let out an un-gentlemanly yawn before he approached the pitch. Best to get the embarrassing stuff out of the way before he faced his team and would have to pretend to be a bad ass. It was important to pretend, because otherwise, no one would take the foolish boy seriously.

He was certain of his position on the team. Not only did he not have any challengers and had also dated the sub-captain, but his father had been an extraordinary Quidditch player... Would have been captain and Keeper if not for some bad luck and the fact that Harry Potter was jealous of him... But oh well. Nevertheless, Simon was feeling cocky. He approached Brienne and Cecelia. "Hello, ladies."

Two people showed up, much to Brienne's surprise. A pleasant surprise indeed, but maybe the luck wouldn't last. Though, she hoped the whole team would show up. Just to at least give Ravenclaw a fighting chance. She didn't like the fact that no one was showing. It just showed her how unloyal everyone was. Well, aside from the two that showed up. They were a different story. A different story altogether. Alright. She was a bit nervous around Simon, she wanted to do right by him, but didn't want to give him special treatment just because she was dating him. She was in a pickle of a jam.

"Uhh...hello Simon, Cecilia". That's what she simply said, before looking around the pitch. "Are you the only two that showed today? Or are the others coming? I hope they come or else there'll be no team. Well, unless each of us takes several positions at once to carry the team, but I'm not sure that's allowed". She smiled at Simon, then looked at her broom which had the Ravenclaw colors banded around it.
