BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Post by Nerezza Ferruccio Wed Jul 07, 2010 4:45 pm

Nerezza stepped through the many alleyways of her birthplace, the smells of various breads and pizza pies wafting through her nostrils. Italy was such a beautiful place to be, especially in the summer. Her favorite place to ever venture was Venice because of the famous Fenice Opera House. It had burned down years ago but had been recently refurbished. She had been awed by the faithfulness of her fellow Italians, surprised at their loyalty and helpfulness to such a jewel in their culture. How could they just let the ashes blow around when they could find the money to rebuild it wood for wood? That was the reason most say it burnt down. During its reconstruction, there were rumors of workers leaving their equipment and flame throwers haphazardly about, probably causing more of a problem than they'd wanted.

The young Italian was barefoot, her caramel feet thanking her for a break from her usual heels. The dirt beneath her feet mashed upon her skin, letting her breathe in her home. It was just so relaxing to be here. She didn't even have a mind to kill some0ne. Maybe she could even find a person to have a pleasant conversation with. But, she knew that this mood wouldn't last very long. She was chemically unstable, so most counted themselves lucky if they were ever in her presence when she was full of smiles and laughter.

Twirling around with her arms spread out, she giggled as she felt her white dress billow around her, flying up and probably flashing some people around her. But, it was Italy. What did they care of a little skin? She was one of them, after all, so they understood her love for the city of Venice. The statues all around her sent chills racing down her spine, for there was such an eeriness about their faces, a sadness lingering in their stone eyes. She loved them dearly for their melancholy expressions, for they gave her strength.

This entire city gave her strength.

BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty Re: BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Post by Miseria Lupin Wed Jul 07, 2010 5:02 pm

The reason why Miseria actually was so far away from Britain weren't the death eaters and the wizarding world cirzis. Actually, she didn't even care about them right now. She was strong enough to stand and fight for herself. She wasn't afraid of them, and that was the thing what made her quite unique.

People could also say right away that she was a tourist. No, she was wearing quite fitting clothes. Jeans, and white t-shirt, which was actually looking so unusual on her. Her hair was in a ponytail. Sad that it wasn't blue anymore. Sad, really. Though, her good old punk days weren't slightly over. She just didn't want to scare the locals, and make her leave as soon as possible. The thing what made her look different was her skin color. Even after giving birth, the sun, and the food, she was still looking extra pale. Actually, she didn't even bother herself in changing the skin color. It was from her mother, and with no intentions to ruin the memories, she didn't change it.

She held a map in her hand, and looked around, finding herself in Venice's streets. Not far away from her was the river, or whatever people loved to call it. Though, the city didn't smell good because of the sewerage, she ignored it. She was just sightseeing, not critisizing it. Then she turned herself around, and walked down the streets. She could tell that she passed so many pizza restoraunts, but didn't even want to enter. She was a vegetarian, almost a vegan, and she couldn't even dare to look how people ate this pie what was actually covered with animal sliced pieces! Yuck!

Suddenly she stopped, as she saw one young woman twirling on the street. That made her raise her eyebrows in a surprise. She actually didn't know what was on her mind, maybe it was for tourists. But then she just started laughing. Whatever was on this woman's mind, she could just tell that it was looking funny. But atleast someone was feeling happy.

BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty Re: BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Post by Nerezza Ferruccio Wed Jul 07, 2010 5:16 pm

As she continued to spin, Nerezza saw another person stopped a few feet in front of her. Halting in her twirls, she blinked rapidly. Regaining her composure, she noticed the girl was not Italian. She held a map in her paled hands and she wore a peculiar looking outfit. Tilting her head to the side, the young woman figured her not to be much older than fifteen. It was a generalization, but Nerezza was hardly ever wrong. Maybe it was simply her arrogance, but she usually learned that she was right about most things, most assuredly her presumptions and observations of people. That was her favorite thing to do really. She loved observing people and finding out their traits. It was all just so exciting. Human nature was rather unpredictable but once one pairs it with a magical being, it became extraordinary.

Practically floating towards the girl, she flashed her a smile before saying, "Bonjourno*! Isn't it just perfect here? Have you ever been anywhere more bellissimo**?" There were few places that had ever sparked such a difference in Nerezza's entire nature besides Venice. Paris also had this effect on her, but she didn't go there as often. The people just weren't as friendly, in her opinion. Besides, she wasn't exactly known for being kind. But, there was just something about the scent of the flowers and trees surrounding the rivieras along with the gondolas filled with random people and a very few amount of tourists. Keeping the smile alight on her caramel-skinneed face, Nerezza continued to eye the girl in front of her, wondering about her. She had never laid eyes on her before so it was obvious that if she had gone to Hogwarts, she had been much younger than Nerezza had been.

BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty Re: BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Post by Miseria Lupin Wed Jul 07, 2010 5:25 pm

Miseria didn't know if humans thought about as a witch or a muggle, she didn't care. She was looking sometimes like both of them, then mixture, and then only like a muggle. And if she'd come with her heavy combat boots, chained jeans, and black t-shirt on what were lyrics from the muggle bands, what were put under the emo, goth, or punk genre, no one would even doupt that she was a muggle.
When the lady stoped from her twirling, the hufflepufflian was surprised that she even talked to her, not attacked her with some rude words. But it seemed that all the italians were actually friendly. On her way here, she even met some friendly people, and even children, who helped her to find way here.

“Ugh... No?“ she asked. Actually, she thought about her homeland, Transilvanya, and wanted to say that it was the most beautiful land, but then again, it would sound as an offence, and it was better to shut up. She didn't turn her pale face away when the lady studied her. She didn't feel uncomfortable. Because of her style, she was already used to it. Atleast she had the courage to be what She really Was, not what people wanted her to be.

Nerezza continued to watch the girl, finding her to be extremely interesting. She didn't know why, but there was something different about her that caused the Italian to feel comfortable. She didn't feel threatened at all and Nerezza was calm when she was not under attack or feeling as if she were being bothered. But this girl, she was seemingly gentle. She found it beautiful that all the Italians in Venice were quite friendly for she had even seen them helping random tourists. However, if the tourists became rude and unruly, the Venetians would always find a way to be rude right back to the foreigners.

Giggling, Nerezza should have realized that anyone not from Venice would probably find it beautiful but not as gorgeous as their own homes. Smiling widely, she said, "I realize you are not from here originally, so do not worry. What brings you to Venice?" Most came to see the buildings or taste the food, but what could this girl be here for? Sure, she had a map but Nerezza wondered if she was looking for something in particular. With another grin, she said, "I do not believe you are from England or America, so where is it that hail from, if I may ask?" Nerezza had always been interested in different cultures and different lands, as long as there were people for her to kill nearby.

BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty Re: BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Post by Miseria Lupin Fri Jul 09, 2010 5:09 pm

Miseria didn't know how to react or what to say. Yes, politeness what preferably on the first place in foreign countries, but it was the first time when she was in situation like this. The lady, whoever she was, reminded her someone, though, she couldn't remember who. Also, the way she was greeting Miseria was kind of odd. Though, her thoughts weren't fitting her emotions, she was looking always kind of numb, and serious, she had to blink her eyes few times, before she heard the question,
“Basically, I want to learn other cultures, and enjoy the sight, and some other beautiful views. Also, Italy is an historic place, so it's a good spot where to start,“ she explained the main reason why she was here. Also, she hoped that she didn't sound too nerdy, but perhaps it was even a good thing. Usually only muggles were talking like this.

But then she raised her eyebrows. This time, she was more than surprised. Yes, she knew that she had this... accent what didn't exactly fit the Britishs', but she was already getting used to speak the way they did. There was also one sad thing that she never was in America, though, she wanted to visit the country as well. The Disney Land was one of the most popular places, and she wanted to have fun, too.
“Transilvanya,“ she didn't hide her last homecountry. She was still proud of it, though, she haven't visited it in a long time.

BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty Re: BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Nerezza simply smiled wider when she noticed that the girl stayed silent for quite some time. She wondered why, for she was usually not this kind. Maybe the girl knew her or something and was aversed to thinking that she was being delusional or something of the sort. She enjoyed the fact that they were two women watching each other, rather closely really, unsure of what to make of the other. She nodded when the girl finally replied to her, intrigued. "I have never been one for studying cultures other than my own, but I do know that Venetians are terribly loyal to their state, if you care to know. Yes, we have many sites that carry historic value and I know everything about them, if you have any questions."

When the girl raised her eyebrows, Nerezza mirrored her with a slight frown. What was it that made this girl act so oddly around her? She hadn't said anything out of the ordinary, had she? It had merely been a remark based on her observations. She supposed that the accent wasn't entirely bad for being British, but because she was a foreigner, she felt that she had a knack of being able to tell when others were misplaced from their homeland as well. Transilvanya. That was the last country Nerezza would have chosen for such an odd girl. But, it worked she supposed. Interested once more, she murmured, "What is it like there? Are there as many Vampires around as the stories convey?" She figured that if this girl were a muggle, there would be a frown to come about her face or a laugh of amusement. But, perhaps if she were anything magical, there would be a chance of her not reacting with anything other than an answer.

BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty Re: BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Post by Miseria Lupin Mon Jul 12, 2010 9:31 am

Miseria raised her eyebrows. She didn't think of the lady as an Venetian, neither she didn't think that she was italian. Probably just the feeling, yet, she didn't know anything about her anyways. But, then again, it was good to get to know someone from foreign country. She was for the first time here anyways.
“Thank you for your kindness, miss, and I do have several questions, but I'm not sure if you want to give me any of the lectures,“ she said calmly. She was only trying to sound polite, and she even smiled to a young woman, though, she herself didn't feel confident.

“In Transilvanya?“ she actually never thought that people would want to know a little bit about this country, but then she just shrugged. “Well, it's like every other country... Probably. It has it's own culture, history, and it's with beautiful nature. I, for an example, love the forests there. The trees are really high, and also, there are mountains, which aren't actually that high, but they give a beautiful view,“ she said. Then she smiled again when the lady asked her about the vampires. For a moment, she wondered about a lie. What if she'd tell her that the Transilvanya was full of vampires? But then she just shook her head. Lying wasn't actually a part of her life, though, she did it sometimes.
“No, it's just a myth, but an interesting story what Bram Stoker wrote. Yes, of course there's Dracula's castle, and no, I won't say that this country doesn't have it's vampires. It does, but not that much so that it's the Transilvanya is the capital of vampire nation,“ she said thoughtfully. She wanted to learn something about those creatures as well, as she was a werewolf, and they probably hate her... Though, not all of them... She had even some of the friends, one of them her housemate, who was actually pretty nice to her.

BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS Empty Re: BEWARE OF FALLING ANGELS

Post by Nerezza Ferruccio Sat Jul 24, 2010 4:22 am

Nerezza watched the girl before her raise her eyebrows and simply smiled in response to such a an action. She wondered what the girl was thinking, but fought the urge to ask. Most people didn't respond well to that question. They normally thought it was intrusive and bizarre for a random stranger to ask what they were thinking at that moment. She knew that she could use Legilimency, but sometimes she just didn't feel like it. Shrugging, Nerezza suddenly realized that neither of them had introduced themselves. Wanting to be careful in case this girl grew suspicious of her, she thrust out her hand and said, "My name is Malvolia. I can assure you that if you want to ask me something, I will give you an answer." She smiled, her teeth glistening in the Venetian sun. This girl looked to be very young. Nerezza wondered what she would be doing so far away from home when she didn't look old enough to be on her own.

Nodding when the younger woman asked if she had meant Transylvania, a grin formed over the Italian's full lips. She listened to the description of the girl's home and smiled. She herself considered everything in Italy to be more beautiful than anything else in the world. She imagined that this girl felt the same way about Transylvania. The way the monuments and statues were stained with age and antiquity, yet their magic and original value seemed to radiate off of them as if they had been newly constructed from their creators. "It sounds lovely. I believe I will add it to my list of places to visit."

Frowning very slightly at the girl's reaction, Nerezza smiled. Muggles usually laughed at the question or tried to change the subject, but this girl embraced the question. Nerezza could only assume she was a Magical being, but she still wasn't sure yet. She knew very little about Bram Stoker, but placed the name in the back of her mind to look it up later. She figured that throwing out a Muggle name would prove helpful in throwing the Italian off, if indeed she were a Witch. She didn't have any proof expression or otherwise to give her this confirmation, but she was going on a feeling. Something about this girl screamed magic.
