((OoTP)) Success Party

Jess walked into the drawing room, smiling broadly as he did so. He and khaat had been working all day on the decorations for this party, and he knew khaat'd been slogging away in the kitchen, working on everyone's meals, and, to tell the truth, his fingers were rather sore from all the times she'd caught him trying to pinch a bit of food, and had whacked his hand with the ladle.

He shook his head and chuckled, looking around the room once more. It'd been enlarged further to accomodate for the dancefloor, and some of the furniture had been removed to make room for the tables for people to sit at.
Satisfied with his work he looked around, waiting for everyone to arrive.

jess and jack walked into the drawing room of grimwald place jess smiled "hi jess looking good, so's the place " she said smiling "hey sorry about the ball kinda got way laid " she chuckled "not any more " she patted her now flat tummy "so now back to active duty for both of us again" her dess was an off the shoulder blue number with nice blue helled shose "its nice to get back into a nice posh dress again " she grinned moving from Jack to the refreshment table.

Jack walked in his arm around jessica even thugh he knew she didn't need it now but he felt happy knowing it was there "hey jess reporting for duty " he grinned he stood quiet as jess spoke "and what a lovly pair of legs you haev my dear" he said grinning as he lent down to kiss her befor she headed fo the refreshments "so things are looking good finally for the order" he said pushing his hands deep into his pocket

Jemma walked into the room. She was wearing an s.b.d., short black dress. Every woman on the planet seemed to own one. She hadn't worn it for many, many years now but she thought it was time to wear it once more, though was unsure why. I don't know why I'm wearing this. It looks old. It is old. I can't have worn this since, well, it must have been pre-Marie. It seems so long ago, almost like another lifetime.

As Jemma looked around, she was reminded instantly of the previous party at the Ministry. The decorations, the dancefloor, the dancing in general. I guess it could just be that all events like this are similar. I wish there was some sort of variety. Still, what? Jemma approached the group of Order members that had already arrived, smiling.

"Hey everyone." she greeted them, "How are things?"

Belle walked into the room and smiled at everyone, "Hello all!" She said as she entered. "The place looks great Jess." She said before walking over and giving Jessica a hug. "I am so glad to see you feeling better."

She looked around and noticed that her husband was no where to be found, she shook her head wondering when he would ever learn to show up on time. She picked up a glass of punch and took a drink pushing her free raven hair behind one ear as she did so.

Robert arrived, coming from St. Mungos, but carrying a bottle of the best firewhiskey made. It was a special enough of an occasion to break out the good stuff. He got there just in time to see a glance of Khaat going inside. He had a lot on his mind tonight, but he knew how to mask it well, and he went up to the door and followed her in, the door being held open by a house-elf who mumbled a lot of insults about everyone to himself. Robert found the first laugh he had had all day, and now was forced to suppress it in order to not be rude to the elf.

He found Khaat inside, came up behind her and kissed her cheek. "Hey, Daddy," she giggled softly, turning to him. "My, don't you look handsome tonight." She straightened his always impeccable tie just a tiny bit.
"Thank you, my dear. This party is decades overdue."

Katherine apparated to Grimmauld Place with a cracking sound from her wand. She had chosen very elegant pencil straight black dress, with an antique pendant necklace that was gold with diamonds, along with diamond earrings. She entered through the door, and for some reason, the house elf took a shine too her, calling her a pretty lady. She had run into this elf before, but for some reason, as nasty as he was to others, he seemed to like her. Why, she had no clue. Inside she caught up with Robert and Khaat. Robert was pleased to see her. He wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her cheek. "Lovely, as always,my love," he said softly in her ear.
She simply smiled quietly, reaching for the hand that wrapped around her waist, to lay her hand on top of his.

jess retuned belles hug "wow you look stunning belle and yes i do feel so much beter thanks to you taking the kids for that day " she smiled hugging her back again "so I see your husband is not with you , late as usuall" she chuckled looking at jack stood with jess talking "shop talk i wage" she said grinning "come on lets get some puch befor it all goes now that I can drink again " she sighed a relaxed sigh as they moved.

Rob hadn’t been tempted by a stray cat wandering around but in fact he’d gone to play a quick game of football with the boys in the park across the street. Rob ran up the right wing of the pitch that the boys had marked out, kicking the ball and keeping it out of their reach. He guided the ball around the defenders and kicked it, effectively scoring. Rob cheered in triumph and went back to playing. Soon enough the boys decided to up their game and Rob found himself having to try harder as well. He aided one of the smaller ones, taking the ball and guiding it away from the defenders and passing it back to him. Rob stopped short and watched as the small boy kicked the ball. The ball sailed past the goalkeeper and Rob’s team cheered. He grinned and picked the boy up, he put the boy on his shoulders and paraded him around the mini-pitch. The game was finished and they’d one. Rob smiled and put the boy down.

He walked over to the bench and picked up his jacket. Rob slipped it back on and left the park. He crossed the street and walked up to the house. He stepped inside and found Khaat with her parents. He walked over and smiled at his in-laws. “Hey,” he breathed, a little worn out from playing football. “Everyone alright?” he kissed Khaat on the cheek and smiled. “You look wonderful, love.”
