Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Near the lake Empty Near the lake

Post by Miseria Lupin Sat Feb 20, 2010 7:39 pm

The snow was melting all around, though thanks to the magic, the hogwarts grounds were quite safe to walk around. And for Miseria it was almost nessesary. Mostly for her little baby who had started growing few weeks ago. And so has her stomach. She noticed it when some of her t-shirts didn't fit her anymore, and she also had read that it's bad for a baby when mother wears clothes what are uncomfortable. And she also felt little panic. According to her grandfather's words, her little baby will born in August, which is only eight monts away from now. And she wasn't ready for the motherhood yet! Yes, she knew that everyone of her friends would help her. Mostly her new family but how would she survive whole this giving a birth thingy?

Miseria sighed quietly, and she took out her wand. Waving with it, she made little white bench dry, and then she sat on it, putting her white arm on her growing belly. "You will bring me a lot of trouble..." she murmured.

Near the lake Empty Re: Near the lake

Post by Alex Faraday Sat Feb 20, 2010 7:51 pm

Alex was sitting near Whomping Willow, few meters away from lake. She was reading an old cabbage-looking book - The History of Hogwarts . She didn't even notice when another girl came there. But she noticed that Whomping Willow has reached near her and grabbed the book.
"Hey!" Alex yelled. She didn't understand why the tree took her book. She would understand if Willow grabbed her, but book... "Give me the book back, you stupid tree!"

Miseria jumped up when she heard someone yelling, and turning around, she saw one young girl and then she raised her eyebrows. She saw the tree what grabbed the gilr's book, and her impression grew even more.
She quietly walked there and looked up as the willow whoped it's branches against the ground.
"You can stop yelling, it won't understand..." she told her, grinning and still staring at the angry tree. She was really impressed by it's behaviour. No one even dared to touch it. Did this little girl do it? Her grin widened when she imagined how she ran there, and touched it. And after that the tree took her book away.
Funny.

"Well, I guess it will understand, if it wants." Alex said sarcastically. She stared the tree.
Tree stared her. Or at least it seemed like that.
"Well..." Alex looked at girl who had talked to her. "When it doesn't... then how I'll get the book back?"
The cabbage-looking book was already starting to look like a very-very old cabbage...

Miseria was still grinning, and then she pushed away her blue hair:"You just sit and wait. The tree will calm down itself. Your words won't help anything, just make it angrier..." she shrugged, and turned back to the girl, and walked down back to her bench where she sat.
"How did you even manage to disturb this Willow?" she wondered loudly.

Alex followed the blue-haired girl. "I was just sitting and reading... and then it stole my damned book." she said.
"By the way," she looked girl's hair, "Is your hair naturally blue?" Alex had never seen haircolor like this.

Miseria looked up at the curious girl. She would never-ever say that she was a gryffindor, but as she could see the school uniform, she definetly wasn't a slytherin.
When she heard her question, she snorted quietly:"Nope. I'm a natural ginger," she replied, smiling softly at her. Well, curiosity wasn't a sin, though no one has ever asked her such questions before, and that was quite an irony.

"All right." Alex sat down. She was quiet in talking mood now. "I'm Alex," she said. "Gryffindor. You?"
One little piece of her wondered what the hell is she doing. She never talked someone, except teachers and her brother.

Miseria was still sitting with raised eyebrows until the girl decided to introduce herself. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Miseria and from Hufflepuff," she introduced herself as well. She wanted to say that she already knew in what house she was. And she had also seen her at the school, waling with other student group, but she didn't mention it. Instead, she coughed quietly. "So I can see that you decided to wait a bit..." she ran her fingers trough her hair. Well, that was quite wise chouse... This willow would just stomp both of them and kill. Funny.

"Aye. It would probably kill us if we continued yellin' at it." Alex talked fast and her scottish accent came out more clearly.
A little bit silence. Alex found out that her fingernails are very interesting. Finally she said: "So, like, what year are ya?"
