Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

In the Lake Empty In the Lake

Post by Merpeople Sun Oct 23, 2011 12:55 am

Preparations were under way, people were swimming about, and things were being done. There was a huge glass tube that went straight through the village in the lake, that was where they had been told to expect students and teacher who were doing a haunted house through the lake, and they were told to be as scary as possible. The lights were all dimmed, so only an eerie glow came from the houses that lived in the lake.

One little girl swam, holding onto a dolly, staring at the glass tube. She had never seen humans before, and was really excited, she was dressed up and had been given candy to slit through the holes that were enchanted not to let water into the tube. Apparently the Humans couldn't breath under water, something that made the little girl giggle. She was stationed towards the beginning of town, ready to push candy through the holes when she saw people. She was allowed to be cheery this early in, but later on it got dark, and creepy, and things were supposed to fly at the glass, from her pet Grindylow, who couldn't hurt a fly, to merpeople in scary masks. It was all so exciting!
